The property

Rhosneigr 4 miles.

Offering a pretty retreat in the heart of the Isle of Anglesey is this charming cottage, The Hayloft, a wonderfully converted hay barn now providing stunning holiday accommodation.

Perfectly suited to a couple looking for a romantic break, this cottage lies in Bryngwran and is part of the Rhosneigr Country Plas, a beautiful estate built by the Sheriff of Anglesey in 1886.

Step inside the open-plan living space and be amazed by the contemporary interior within this vintage property, where a leather L-shaped sofa sits atop the slate flooring, opposite the woodburning stove and the TV, creating a wonderful, relaxing set up to return to after a busy day.

Beneath exposed beams and feature copper lighting lies the sleek kitchen, with dark blue units housing a fabulous range of appliances for cooking up a romantic meal for two, to be served at the dining table which sits by the lovely French doors overlooking the patio.

Enjoy sitting out here in your own private space and dining alfresco on a summer’s eve, afterwards taking a dip in the bubbling hot tub beneath the stars.

A beautiful and unique feature of this property lies within the bathroom, set aside an hour and soak in the amazing free-standing copper bath, with a quirky feature made of the basin set atop a barrel, and a beautiful, large walk-in shower here too.

Travel up the wooden stairs to the mezzanine level bedroom, settle under the covers of the double bed beneath the clopping ceilings and rest for the night amidst this thoughtfully decorated space.

Head south to the coast at Rhosneigr and pick up any amenities you need from the local shops, dine in one of the restaurants with a sea view, or simply walk along the coast for some spectacular scenery.

Some of the best surfing beaches can be found here including Town and Broad Beach, so you can practice your skills on the waves, with surfboards available to hire locally too.

As well as being within easy reach of the express way to access many more beautiful locations, The Hayloft is a fantastic romantic retreat.
