  • "Fantastic, quiet location but easy access to many walks and interesting places."

  • "It was a lovely clean cottage, in a lovely setting - decorated to a high standard."

I would definitely go back. A washing line in the garden would be very helpful for drying out beach attire though and, for me, a washing machine is always a bonus but I appreciate space is limited.

  • "We had a wonderful family holiday at Rhos Y Bel."

The cottage was lovely and comfy with plenty of space and everything we needed. Having a cot and a high chair really helped too. Everything was finished to such a high standard and it was a real treat to relax in the living room after a day spent at the seaside. The owners next door were on hand for anything we needed were so kind and welcoming. A glorious holiday in a fabulous location. We will definitely be back.

  • "Beautiful quiet cottage."

Comfortable beds. Nice to have the log fire on a cold, wet June day(!) Children liked having NETFLIX and YouTube on the TV. Lots of pool games played.

  • "The cottage was even better than we'd expected and the pool table an extra bonus!"

The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed, we particularly appreciated the recycling facilities. The front garden was beautiful, full of flowers and we enjoyed walking through it every day; the back garden has a good sized bbq and picnic table which was great to use on sunny evenings. The property is surrounded by farmland and all we could hear was birds and sheep, it was very peaceful. We took an 18 month old with us and she had a great time talking to the sheep and playing in the spacious lounge. The owners were discreet and very pleasant, the wine and welsh cakes were much appreciated! Walks down by the estuary are stunning, we saw several red squirrels in Newborough forest, went to the fantastic beach nearby and saw Puffins and Razorbills at South Stacks.

  • "This is a delightful cottage in a quiet area, but easily accessible to the attractions of Anglesey, by car."

It is well equipped ,with the exception of a dish washer, but the pool table makes up for this! We really enjoyed our stay here and would like to come back in the future.

The cottage was cosy and very warm, perfect for our New Year break. It was fantastic for our requirements (4 adults and 2 children). The pool table was a great touch.

  • "Lovely part of Wales."

Holiday cottage was so peaceful without being remote. Owner was on hand if we needed anything. Beds were extremely comfortable but had to discard 13.5 tog duvet, very warm in July. Bathrooms whilst perfectly serviceable were somewhat smaller than they looked in photos. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others

Plenty of space for all the family, really comfortable beds made for a good nights sleep even the kids slept (1 & 4). Close to the beach and woods for walks and building sand castles with plenty of other activities close by too.

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rhos y Bel."

It was good to stay on Anglesey for a week rather than doing day trips, as we had done previously. Despite some boisterous weather, we had some really good times walking on the beaches, which were beautifully quiet in February. Even Newborough and Llanddwyn weren't excessively crowded, as no doubt they are in the summer. The cottage was beautifully presented, quiet and comfortable. The owner was very pleasant and helpful, going out of his way to assist with something that wasn't connected to the cottage at all, which blessed us greatly. The pool table was very much enjoyed by the young people, of course!

Great location for walks, beaches & towns etc - less than 30 mins to Holyhead and similar time to Beaumaris. Would definitely recommend this cottage and plan to return next year.

  • "We spent 8 days at this beautiful cottage, the owners were very friendly, accommodating and very helpful."

we brought our bikes and there was suitable storage for them. On arrival there was a complimentary bottle of wine, eggs and biscuits. The the cottage was beautifully presented throughout and the beds were very comfortable. The location was very quiet and hardly any traffic. The outside facilities were very adequate, however we didn't use the BBQ, we did enjoy sitting out. We made use of the pool table and Wii. The location was excellent, the nearby Newbourough Forest was only 3 miles away and we were given the use of a car parking pass to use throughout our stay by the owners. The beach is accessible through the forest and there is plenty to do there. There was an Asda 5/10 mins away and an Aldi and Lidle in Llanfni. We had an excellent meal at the Oyster Catcher which was 15 mins drive. Overall we had an excellent stay and would definitely be returning to the Island and the cottage. Malltreath was a very quiet village, and there was a lovely gallery cafe there and the pub landlord was very friendly and welcoming
