“The flat was actually much nicer than the 'advert' showed in the photos, as there is a new pale grey thick carpet in the bedrooms, lounge and hall area, giving a unified look and feel, and new beds in the large bedroom as well as rearranged furniture in the living room made it all look much more modern and attractive.”
The kitchen was well equipped but the gas cooker seemed dated.
Parking next to the house was a bit tricky for even one car as there's not much of a turning area, but there is also parking on the track by the gate.
The garden and patio were not as advertised as the owners have now made the patio private and off limits to guests, and part of the garden was being re-grassed, but as it was often rainy and windy we didn't want to sit outside! The sea is very close anyway, less than 100 yards to the nearest little beach.
There was an irritating problem with the curtain tracks in the living room which weren't properly attached, but presumably the caretaker will have remedied this now?
Apart from these few niggles we were very pleased with the flat, finding it very spacious, light and comfortable.
