  • "Loved Trearddur bay a really lovely place."

The apartment was nice, the owners have tried to make it home from home. Sadly there were a few issues, quite a lot of crockery had been put away dirty, and the kitchen window handle was Brocken so couldn’t open this window. The owner apologised, I’m immunocompromised so things like this really concern me.

  • "We had a fantastic time at Isallt Lodge, our Sykes holiday cottage."

There were 7 of us in total, 4 adults and 3 kids. The cottage had loads of space, was immaculately clean, was modern and very well appointed. It even had had Sky and WiFi! The location was fantastic - we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to others, and we can't wait to go back!

  • "Lovely apartment, very clean and comfortable."

The bathroom has been upgraded since the photo and is very nice, the shower in particular. The surrounding area is beautiful, the beach is close by and there are plenty of opportunities for days out within half an hours drive. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or return! Thank you for a lovely stay.

  • "We had a great time in Anglesey, we could easily have spent another week there, it is such a beautiful place with a lot to explore."

Isallt Lodge was a great base for us. A very short walk to beaches and stunning views, and Trearddur Bay has a real old-fashioned seaside charm, not at all commercialised. The apartment itself is clean and light with lovely beachy touches and a beautiful sea view. The beds were very comfortable, the shower was great and the kitchen was very well equipped. We really couldn't have asked for more. The housekeeper and owners were very easily contactable when we came across an issue (unavoidable) and it was sorted within a couple of hours. We hope to return in the future :-) * A tip for anyone visiting soon would be to make restaurant bookings at least a few days in advance, especially if there's somewhere specific you want to go. We're not forward planners and a couple of places we would have tried were either fully booked or not open, I think likely due to the effects of covid (shorter opening periods, less capacity etc).

Very well equipped - even had washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets Included. Bathroom radiators weren’t working which was a bit of a faff for towels and the grill wasn’t working properly but we baked our breakfast sausages instead!,Other than that pretty perfect! Thankyou.

  • "The apartment was really lovely with a beach themed decor."

The only problem we encountered was the small double room blind didnt work and so we were unable to close this, although it was nice to see the stars while drifting off to sleep it wasn't so relaxing when the day light was beaming in before 6.30am, having said that it didn't in any way ruin our stay. We had a very relaxing stay with the location of numerous beaches/coves within a few minutes walk. We will definitely be back.

  • "Isallt Lodge was fantastic."

We had such a lovely week here. It's light and airy and tastefully decorated throughout. The lodge is very well equipped. The kitchen is small but fine. Everything you need for cooking on holiday. The bedrooms were spacious with cupboards and closets to unpack into, and the beds were very comfortable. The only things missing are a washing machine and a line or whirlygig outside to hang wet swimwear and beach stuff. The lodge is in a great location with a lot of outside space (shared) for the children to run around. We loved Trearddur Bay and the beach was fantastic and very safe for children to play in the sea. We will definitely be back!

  • "We loved this nicely furnished apartment in a quiet complex with good views and parking outside."

The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed apart from washer/drier which would have been helpful as we had 2 children with us. We brought our own summer duvets as we know from previous experience of another property that winter weight are provided. We are happy to recommend this property.

  • "The accommodation was excellent."

I have only marked facilities down slightly as there was no washing machine. I would also request that the presence of an iron (travel size) and hairdryer is stated as for some other properties. We brought our own. The decor was very in keeping with a property this near the beach and was light and airy. There was plenty of kitchen equipment and lovely extra touches - for example the guitar in the fire alcove! Lots of information leaflets about the area which would be fantastic if you don’t know this part of Wales well. Overall a lovely place to spend a break.

  • "We absolutely love this house and it’s our third stay."

the only drawback for me is that there isn’t a washing machine, especially for a house with this many bedrooms advertised as child friendly. I had to use a laundrette in Holyhead which was an adventure but, for me, they’re missing a trick. have a slimline dishwasher and shift some cupboards- easily done and I’d happily pay £100-150 more.

Other than that it was absolute perfect and we will definitely be returning. Thanks for a fantastic weekend we really loved it.

Lovely beach themed accommodation , fab, comfy and well equipped. We had lots of lovely long walks and some lovely meals in The black seal and The sea shanty. We had a great New Year's Eve in the Treaddur bay hotel fancy dress ,buffet and fireworks at midnight! Isallt lodge is within walking distance to the glorious sandy beach. All in all a fab place to chill and unwind after a busy Christmas.

Everything you need, home from home kitchen was well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and immaculate. Sky tv and WiFi great for the family to use. The beach is only a 5 minute walk and the 3 pubs/restaurants were nice. The Trearddur Bay pub has sea huts with heaters and light which was nice to have a drink in. • "Lovely place to stay, beautiful apartment, perfect location for travelling around the island."

Trearddur Bay is beautiful with two restaurants that serve gorgeous food. The only thing that slightly let the apartment down for us (and they are minor things really) the sky TV doesn’t work, lucky we have a Netflix account so we were able to sign into that to watch a film, and neither did the TV in the master bedroom and my two teenage daughters complained that their mattresses were very uncomfortable in the family room, and they were right, you could feel all of the springs when you lay on them. The mattresses in the double and king beds were very comfortable. Other than that I would highly recommend a stay here.

  • "Isallt Lodge is AMAZING!"

! We spent 7 nights there with our 4 year old daughter. The decor of the apartment is beautiful!! My daughter loved the seaside theme! The personal touches make it feel like your second home. I could quite easily live there! Spacious, modern, light and spotlessly clean. The south stack wallpaper is a wonderful touch, clearly more than just a holiday rental. There is Sky tv and a great selection of dvd’s much to my husband and daughters delight! The kitchen has everything you could need apart from a washing machine, but seriously who wants to do washing on holiday!! Fabulous location, only 5-10 minutes walk to the beach. 5 minutes drive to the retail park for Tesco, wilko’s, home bargain and Morrison’s! It’s Central to get literally anywhere. We loved the Sea Shanty and had several fabulous meals there. I was originally booking Center Parc’s for our week, I am so glad I didn’t there is no comparison to the things you can do and see in Anglesey.. South stack lighthouse, RAF Valley, Newborough beach, Beaumauris.. and puffin island just to name a few! This was such a wonderful family holiday making special memories, and we are already looking to book Isallt lodge for next year!!
