We absolutely love it. The bay is such a beautiful place and just 10 min walk from the fabulous sea shanty cafe! Thank you for the wine much appreciated! Looking forward to next year

The location was ideal and within easy access to the local pub for evening meals but also within walking distance of the main Treaddur Bay area for all facilities. Love this particular area because of access to all the small coves and beaches. Would recommend this property. Thanking you again.

Only other problem would be there is no ironing board or iron. We probably won't stay again as we are in our 70's abd we find the stairs a bit too much but views are lovely.

  • "Isallt lodge was very comfortable."

The kitchen is very well equipped. the lodge had everything we needed. It was close to the beautiful beach. We have a 1 and half year old so any one planning to book the lodge. I would highly recommend any one traveling contact Nicky or Matt in advance and getting few things removed because my son is high energy toddler and wanted to touch the TV. Nicky was very kind to suggest how to keep him out of trouble. But location is very good for kids because you take them for a dip and bring back to lodge to clean and feed within 10 minutes.

The apartment was nice, the owners have tried to make it home from home. Sadly there were a few issues, quite a lot of crockery had been put away dirty, and the kitchen window handle was Brocken so couldn’t open this window. The owner apologised, I’m immunocompromised so things like this really concern me.

Apologies- this is certainly not the standard we aspire to. We are very grateful when this is reported to us at the time so we can sort it all out. Property Owner

  • "We had a great time in Anglesey, we could easily have spent another week there, it is such a beautiful place with a lot to explore."

Isallt Lodge was a great base for us. A very short walk to beaches and stunning views, and Trearddur Bay has a real old-fashioned seaside charm, not at all commercialised. The apartment itself is clean and light with lovely beachy touches and a beautiful sea view. The beds were very comfortable, the shower was great and the kitchen was very well equipped. We really couldn't have asked for more. The housekeeper and owners were very easily contactable when we came across an issue (unavoidable) and it was sorted within a couple of hours. We hope to return in the future :-) * A tip for anyone visiting soon would be to make restaurant bookings at least a few days in advance, especially if there's somewhere specific you want to go. We're not forward planners and a couple of places we would have tried were either fully booked or not open, I think likely due to the effects of covid (shorter opening periods, less capacity etc).

The only problem we encountered was the small double room blind didnt work and so we were unable to close this, although it was nice to see the stars while drifting off to sleep it wasn't so relaxing when the day light was beaming in before 6.30am, having said that it didn't in any way ruin our stay. We had such a lovely week here. It's light and airy and tastefully decorated throughout. The lodge is very well equipped. The kitchen is small but fine. Everything you need for cooking on holiday. The bedrooms were spacious with cupboards and closets to unpack into, and the beds were very comfortable. The only things missing are a washing machine and a line or whirlygig outside to hang wet swimwear and beach stuff. The lodge is in a great location with a lot of outside space (shared) for the children to run around. We loved Trearddur Bay and the beach was fantastic and very safe for children to play in the sea. I have only marked facilities down slightly as there was no washing machine. I would also request that the presence of an iron (travel size) and hairdryer is stated as for some other properties. We brought our own. The decor was very in keeping with a property this near the beach and was light and airy. There was plenty of kitchen equipment and lovely extra touches - for example the guitar in the fire alcove! Lots of information leaflets about the area which would be fantastic if you don’t know this part of Wales well. Overall a lovely place to spend a break.

the only drawback for me is that there isn’t a washing machine, especially for a house with this many bedrooms advertised as child friendly. I had to use a laundrette in Holyhead which was an adventure but, for me, they’re missing a trick. have a slimline dishwasher and shift some cupboards- easily done and I’d happily pay £100-150 more.

Trearddur Bay is beautiful with two restaurants that serve gorgeous food. The only thing that slightly let the apartment down for us (and they are minor things really) the sky TV doesn’t work, lucky we have a Netflix account so we were able to sign into that to watch a film, and neither did the TV in the master bedroom and my two teenage daughters complained that their mattresses were very uncomfortable in the family room, and they were right, you could feel all of the springs when you lay on them. The mattresses in the double and king beds were very comfortable. Other than that I would highly recommend a stay here.

! We spent 7 nights there with our 4 year old daughter. The decor of the apartment is beautiful!! My daughter loved the seaside theme! The personal touches make it feel like your second home. I could quite easily live there! Spacious, modern, light and spotlessly clean. The south stack wallpaper is a wonderful touch, clearly more than just a holiday rental. There is Sky tv and a great selection of dvd’s much to my husband and daughters delight! The kitchen has everything you could need apart from a washing machine, but seriously who wants to do washing on holiday!! Fabulous location, only 5-10 minutes walk to the beach. 5 minutes drive to the retail park for Tesco, wilko’s, home bargain and Morrison’s! It’s Central to get literally anywhere. We loved the Sea Shanty and had several fabulous meals there. I was originally booking Center Parc’s for our week, I am so glad I didn’t there is no comparison to the things you can do and see in Anglesey.. South stack lighthouse, RAF Valley, Newborough beach, Beaumauris.. and puffin island just to name a few! This was such a wonderful family holiday making special memories, and we are already looking to book Isallt lodge for next year!!
