  • "Lovely house."

Very quiet location just sheep for company. Minor issue which was rectified quickly by the owner. Highly recommended. Would book again. Would love to live there!!!

  • "Lovely cottage, well equipped."

Very nice area. Close to a cove that our dog loved. Make sure you open the window in the downstairs en suite after showering as it causes condensation on the walls.

  • "No real serious issues - just a warning about the Aga - which sounds great, but is a bit unpractical when it comes to Pizzas / Garlic bread etc which is what teenagers tend to like !"

Otherwise it was a superb location, cleanliness and facilities were excellent - we would come again !

  • "Thank you for a chance to give a unbiased feedback."

The cottage was very nice and there are only two points that we would criticise. The bedlinen and towels were of poor quality for a 4 tick property- on the twin beds the duvet covers were completely different - and the quilts and pillows were cheap and uncomfortable. The bed linen had clearly not been ironed at all. Throws and bed spreads shown in the advertising were not in the cottage. If I may suggest pillow and mattress savers would help. All of the glassware was smeared and some were still sticky. Apart from those two points the cottage was well equipped and spacious. It was nice to have full control of the heating which can be unusual at this time of year!

  • "Ideal setting for a relaxing holiday, unusual layout of the cottage but it worked."

The location was ideal for us, very quiet apart from the occasional shout of "fore" from the adjacent golf course. It was just a 10 minute walk from the Old Cottage to a small beach which was very quiet and ideal for an early morning dog walk. Treaddur Bay itself was great with a good half of the beach allowing dogs. The Black Seal is newly opened and has a great outdoor area for drinks and food, the pizza's were great. Also tried the pub attached to the Treaddur Bay Hotel, this has a great beer garden which offers some shelter from the wind and rain, and sells some good quality beers (great guest cask ales). All in all a VERY relaxing holiday, highly recommended.

The cottage has an upside down layout, the sitting room being on the first floor with enhanced country views to Holyhead Mountain as a result.

The bedrooms are split across the two floors with a first floor double and family bathroom with a large corner bath, and a twin and double bedroom on the ground floor, the double benefitting from an en-suite shower room, and the twin able to use a further shower room.
