  • "From the moment we arrived to cake and a cup of tea, till we left, we loved our time here."

The owner is helpful and quick to respond if there is any problems. The apartment is cosy and clean, and minutes from the beach. The builders are presently in the garden doing maintanence, but were friendly and considerate of us during our stay.

Thank you Jill for your lovely feedback. You were a wonderful guest and a pleasure to have in the apartment. Please come back whenever you wish. Property Owner

  • "Arrived in the dark late on Friday evening."

Damaged the car in the drop off area due to builders skips, scaffolding and building materials not tidied away. You enter the apartment via a door off the main lobby into a small corridor where there was no working light. Once in the apartment you can smell dogs and damp. The bedroom and bathroom has no natural light or ventilation. Bedroom smells musty, worse if you open the wardrobe. The only natural light (very little) is from the patio doors. The electric storage heating is inadequate for the size of the property. Crockery and glassware didn't look clean so I filled the dishwasher but it didn't work beyond a drain cycle. Some pans were fit for the bin. The parking instructions were incorrect. We left the following day and checked into a hotel. On Sunday we agreed a partial refund with the owner via Sykes. At no time did we have any direct contact with the owner as I requested via Sykes chatbot. Interestingly it has many good reviews but look closely at the scores (website not app) and it score quite low despite people writing good things? I expect a rebuttal from the owner but I have sufficient images and video to prove my point.

I'm very sorry that your stay was an unpleasant one. I read all of your emails via Sykes and responded promptly and regularly but as some of your comments referred to my character thought it best to keep Sykes as the intermediary. Everything has been checked in relation to the points you have made and a new dishwasher installed within days of your departure. I trust you were satisfied with your refund. Property Owner

Well furnished small ground floor flat at the back of the building so very quiet. The fantastic beach is just a few minutes walk from the flat....ideal for dog walking.

  • "The apartment was first class."

There were a couple of slight problems. Tha car parking instructions didn't appear to be quite right, I couldn't find the area which was designated for Beach Court. The only barrier was permanently up. I parked in front of the bar and found had no problems. The other problem was the cooker. the markings were worn off so the manual, provided in the visitor pack. had to be looked at when using the cooker. The touch screen 'buttons' also seemed a bit temperamental at times but perseverance got us through.

Thank you for your comments Granville. The parking area is as instructed but I have amended the description which future visitors may find helpful. Also, I have informed Housekeeping to remove the manual from the guestbook and place at the side of the cooker. In addition, they have double checked the touch screen buttons on the hob and all seems well. Thank you for pointing out these issues as it provides me with valuable feedback and I'm pleased that you enjoyed staying at the apartment. Property Owner

  • "Don't be put off by the outside of the building when you pull up!"

This little gem was emaculate inside, comfortable beds and sofa. Plenty of storage and 2 mins walk to the beach. The back communal garden is apparently being refurbished this autumn as is the outside of the building. I would definitely recommend this apartment

Thank you for your lovely comments Julie. As you mentioned above, the exterior of the building and the outside area of the apartment is due to be renovated and I seem to be at the mercy of the management company at present as there have been 2 delays this year. Hopefully this will be rectified very soon but in the meantime, I am really pleased that you enjoyed your stay in the apartment and appreciated its great location too. It would be lovely to have you back at any time. Property Owner

  • "Excellent interior and facilities although the exterior decking needs some attention."

Close to beach and easy walk to pubs and restaurants. Would highly recommend for a comfortable stay with easily accessed parking.

Thank you for your feedback Martin as your comments are much appreciated. The Management Company had arranged for the exterior decking to be replaced this month along with the whole building being rendered and painted too but there are delays to the work going ahead. However, it's nice to hear that you enjoyed your stay and please revisit any time. Property Owner

  • "The flat was comfortable and roomy with a good range of kitchen utensils and an extremely comfortable bed."

I slept very well there and I am normally a poor sleeper. Chairs and sofa were also comfortable The flat is all-electric. Parking is in a secure car park. We used Trearddur as a base for walking the western and southern coast path of Anglesey and using a combination of car and public transport worked well. There is a Tesco superstore a couple of miles away and a Spar only 5 minutes walk away but we found this to be quite limited in terms of variety of food. The Sea Shanty cafe, 5 minutes walk away, does excellent evening meals. The flat has just one window overlooking a patio which is itself overlooked by other flats. Pleasant in the morning when there is sunshine. You will need to bring toilet roll and soap. Shame there are no recycling facilities at the flat.

Thank you for your comments Philip as they have been very helpful but first may I apologise for what appears to be insufficient hand wash and toilet roll. Both are always supplied for each guest on the day they arrive but having spoken to House Keeping they believe that at the time of your stay, the apartment may have been running low on both items. This has been noted and rectified and an increase in both of these essentials will be available from this point on, so thank you for raising this. As for the lack of recycling facilities for the apartment and others in the building I share your disappointment and indeed came as a surprise to me too when I became responsible for the property last Summer. As far as I am aware this is a matter for the management company and I will be raising this matter with them to come up with an alternative, eco friendly solution. Finally, thank you for the rest of your review and hope you return for more coastal walks and a good night's sleep too. Property Owner

Thank you for the feedback Charles. I was made aware of the issue with the doors, but unfortunately a joiner could only be booked after your stay . However, I'm happy to report that the problem has now been solved and the doors to the bedroom and the bathroom can be fully closed. A lovely cake and everything needed to make a cup of tea on arrival was provided. there is a hotel and restaurant next door which was great for a meal and a drink .and the beach is a 5 min walk away also it was very quiet in the apartment no noise disruptions . the apartment is well presented ,clean and relaxing .

  • "Oven dial temperature markings worn off Gate for car park horrible to use"

Thank you for your feedback. As mentioned in the guest handbook, I have owned the apartment since, August and consequently inherited all of the appliances of which, at this stage, a new washer/dryer has been installed. Others will follow but in the meantime, I anticipated the need for clarity on use of the cooker and included the visual instructions and manual for guests to refer to. As for the gate, I will pass this on to the Management Company. Property Owner

  • "Lovely apartment the only downside is that the shower is only accessible by climbing in the bath it really needs a walk in shower."

Also no information that the Accommodation is located inside an old hotel.

Thank you Margaret for your feedback. I agree a walk in shower would be preferable and in time hope to rectify this but for now had already indicated that the shower is over the bath in the summary of the facilities and in the images too. With regard to the apartment being in a building this is given to guests at the time of booking but I think an outside image would help with this and expect this to happen once the exterior of the building has been decorated. I hope this didn't spoil your stay. Property Owner
