  • "This is a beautiful house overlooking some gorgeous countryside."

All of the bedrooms are spacious and clean and most rooms are en suite. We'd love to come back again soon!

Fantastic property for family gathering, shame downstairs bathroom didn’t have walk-in shower as the older members of our group used the downstairs bedrooms, as couldn’t make stairs but then had to struggle with a shower over the bath

  • "Lovely cottage in a good location, but needs a good clean!"

Owner was good at solving the issue of lack of hot water upstairs during our stay - promptly sent a plumber the next day. She also organised the sending of hand soap pumps so we could wash our hands (there were none upon arrival, which I queried). The cottage is spacious and well laid out. Kitchen is an especially good feature. But the whole house needs a proper clean. The microwave was filthy. Coffee/tea storage jars left unclean. Cobwebs everywhere - up the walls in all rooms. The main bathroom needs a good clean - if you are going to put up lovely ornaments and decorations, they need cleaning. The top of the wardrobe in the main hall, which is visible clearly as you walk down the beautiful main stairs was so dusty I could write my name in it. The sofas in the living room need replacing as they are so low and very uncomfortable. The z beds are very poor quality. There were lots of positives, like the prompt replies from the owner, the size of the rooms and the quality of furniture in the downstairs bedrooms. But at the price we paid for the week, I expected better. There wasn’t even a welcome pack offered, which I had expected having stayed in Sykes cottages of a similar size and standard and paid less for and was given a lovely welcome pack. All in all, a lovely house, let down by ‘cutting corners’ and in need of a proper clean.

  • "Beautiful holiday home."

When you walk through the door it gives you a real wow factor. Lovely entrance hall and gallery landing. Lovely big kitchen, well equipped and plenty big enough to cater for large groups. Don't be put off by the roadside location, once inside you wouldn't even realise it is there. Fantastic views to snowdon in the distance and secure garden which kept our kids and dog safe and able to enjoy the great Anglesey weather. We were a large party of 9 and big dog and there was more than enough room to enjoy family time together and still enough space to take a quiet moment away from it all if you want. All in all, fantastic accomodation for big or small groups. Character property very well layed out and tastefully decorated. Oh, and there is a Hoover in the house - ideal for those of us with furry family members

  • "Absolutely amazing house, plenty of room for our 3 families of 11 people ( 6 adults & 5 children ) to be together but have enough space to not feel crowded."

Anything you need for day to day living is in the house so no need to cram your car full of things you think may not be available to use from cleaning up to cooking and entertainment. Free wifi included too. Easy access to go exploring. Owner was really lovely to communicate with too.

  • "Pictures didn't do the property justice."

Plenty of space for 12 people and had everything that we needed. Could have done with king size beds. WiFi was slow but perfect for a long weekend.

  • "Outstanding property, spacious and beatiful fittings."

Felt more like staying in someones home than a holiday let and without doubt the best property we have rented. Some minor details to make it perfect, both fridge doors were missing the restraining bars so we couldn't store bottles in the doors. Overall 9.5/10 .

  • "Our stay here was fabulous."

We wee able to explore north wales from this base with beaches within a few minutes drive from the accommodation. The house was well stocked with everything you could need for all age ranges - we went with 2 toddlers. I would recommend this as somewhere to stay.
