  • "Tyn y Graig is a fabulous cottage which has been beautifully restored and tastefully decorated."

It has a wonderful modern kitchen and an amazing shower room, making it a perfect place to stay. The garden is also an attractive feature of the property. The location is exceptional, making it almost a secret hideaway. As a base to explore Anglesey it is superbly located, and the seaside village of Moelfre is only a few minutes away.

  • "Tyn y Graig is a fabulous holiday retreat."

The owners have recently invested heavily in upgrading the bathroom and cloakroom and both are now 5 star hotel standard. The downstairs living rooms are spacious and inviting, with numerous places to relax and enjoy the countryside views. The dining room is great for 2/3 people a bit cramped for 4 or more. It is one of our favourite places to stay and is ideally situated to enjoy the east coast of Anglesey.

Thank you David for your feedback and we are really pleased you liked our new bathrooms. The constraints of a traditional stone cottage mean that some rooms are smaller than others and the dining room is one of them. The table can accommodate a maximum of 6 for a very intimate dining experience although it does mean some guests may have to move if someone wants to leave the room. We also have a large outdoor eating area for Al fresco dining when the weather is kind. We are so pleased that we are one of your favourite places to stay and we would love to welcome you back in the future. Property Owner

  • "Tyn Y Graig provides an outstanding base from which to enjoy and explore Anglesey."

Superbly appointed and extremely comfortable, we thought that, arguably, the online photographs don't fully do the property justice. All of the fittings and equipment within Ten Y Graig cottage are of an exceptional standard and the attentive owners appear to have considered everything that a discerning visitor might need. The cottage is situated in a quiet but accessible spot with Moelfre harbour and its facilities only a short walk away. We cannot recommend Ten Y Graig cottage highly enough.

  • "Met up to all the expectations given by the online details with regard to the three separate sitting rooms if you include the snug reading area, so plenty of space to spread out and watch television, listen to music or spend quiet time without annoying anyone else, or causing family squabbles."

There is also a downstairs 'loo' and a porch where you can leave your shoes and coats for outdoors. It has central heating, plus a modern electric fire in one of the downstairs rooms, and a log burner for colder days in the other; but because it was very warm, we did not need to use either. The kitchen is not only well designed and planned, but fitted with new and modern electrical appliances including family size fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dish washer, ceramic hob, double oven and microwave, and was adjacent to a small separate dining area. The two bedrooms are both distinctive in their decor which is completed to a high standard. One contains a double bed and wardrobe/cupboard, plus bedside cupboards and the decor suggests this is the master bedroom; the other has a double and single bed, plus a novel wardrobe which matches the overall theme of this room. Each room was provided with bathrobes, if you wished to use them, as well as hairdryers. The bathroom has a large walk-in modern shower, plus double sinks with useful cupboards beneath, and a loo. The picture on the website shows exactly what it is like, but no photo can do it justice. There is not only good WIFI access, but also 'Alexa' is available in each room. Lastly there is a comfortable conservatory, which opens out onto the large rear garden which was fully in bloom when we were there. In addition, there are plenty of places to sit or play, and a rotary drier for clothes. The gas barbeque is easy to use and the adjacent table and chairs, provide an enjoyable outdoor space to enjoy breakfast, lunch or an evening meal, if weather is as good as when we visited. Parking is next to the cottage and easily accessible. The owners are very helpful.

!!!! we would give it 10 stars plus. We have really enjoyed our stay - everything we needed was there for us. It is very expensively furnished , upholstery and bedding are quality and refurbishments were first class and innovative . It is obvious that the owners have very good taste. The cottage is very private set in beautiful gardens that are not overlooked with an abundance of wild life. We would have no hesitation in recommending and can't wait for an opportunity to return Thank you so much Neil and Coll

  • "Beautiful cottage on the edge of Moelfre."

Very quite and picturesque. The large garden has frequent visits from the red squirrels. The cottage has been tastefully refurbished to a high standard with modern shower room and kitchen. As we did eat in on an evening, although there were plenty of plates/cups etc, I did find that there was a lack of ovenware available which did make cooking challenging. Otherwise a very restful holiday. Advice to anyone who is tall - Mind your heads going through the doors.

Listed as sleeping 5, and there are two large bedrooms equipped for that number, there is a compact dining area with table and chairs for 4. However, there are two large lounges, a conservatory and a reading area, so a large amount of downstairs space. The cottage is very well equipped with Alexa Echo throughout. The decorations and furniture are all of very high quality. The owners are incredibly attentive, texting to confirm that the cottage is ready for example. We have booked for 2023 already. The location is quiet tucked away down a long driveway. Easy walking distance to the pebbly beach of Moelfre and the coastal path. The place was clean and welcoming when we arrived. The only slight issues for us were the small shower enclosure as we are quite tall, and the lack of a shelf near the bathroom sink. Such minor details in a beautiful property in a fab location.

Many thanks for your feedback. For 2023 we have a new fitted bathroom with a much larger shower enclosure and a twin sink unit (including a small shelf in between). In addition to the new bathroom we are also pleased to be able to offer a newly installed downstairs toilet. Feedback helps us to update and improve the facilities we offer Property Owner

Situated in such peaceful and beautiful settings with the sun on the garden most of the day. Everything was top quality and extremely comfortable. The interior decor was to die for! It suited all our needs as there were 2 adults, a 75 year old and 2 children (aged 9 and 14). There was so much room for everyone to have their own space and do their own thing but on the other hand the DVD and games available in the cottage brought everyone together. The binoculars and bird book came in very handy for watching the local wildlife and identifying the vast array of birds on the feeders in the garden. Without doubt our favourite retreat of all time

Location is quiet, (but the nearest village Moelfre is only a short walk away) and car parking is easy - even for a big car.
