A detached farmhouse cottage in a secluded location, close to the village of Llanddona on the Isle of Anglesey.
This rural retreat is perfect for readers, writers, artists, and nature and beach lovers, and anyone wishing to get away from all the trappings in life.
A warm Welsh welcome awaits you at this delightful cottage, which is decorated in a homely style boasting a wealth of character attributes such as quarry tiled flooring, exposed ceiling beams and an Inglenook fireplace.
Relax and enjoy the ambience of the spacious sitting room, with its floor to ceiling bookcases filled with endless amounts of reading material for you to enjoy, perfect for a rainy day if you don’t want to venture outside.
The Inglenook fireplace houses the warming woodburning stove that you can all gather round on colder days or evenings in with the family.
The dining room is ideal for leisurely breakfasts and evening meals and extends into a large conservatory, a great place for everyone to socialise, reminisce and exchange stories and tales after a long day of exploring and activities.
The farmhouse-style kitchen is well equipped with a useful utility room and there is also a shower room on the ground floor and a family bathroom upstairs.
The bedrooms are light, airy and comfortable, all enjoying views of the open countryside surrounding the cottage, extending towards the Menai Strait.
Outside is a patio area and a lower lawn with seating, offering relaxing spaces to sit and get lost in a book on a balmy summer’s evening, or enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the beautiful sunsets and star gaze long into the night.
Despite the rural nature of the cottage, it is only a mile from the village of Llanddona which has a lovely welcoming pub serving a range of home-cooked meals, snacks and a variety of local cask ales.
Close by is Llanddona Beach, a long, spacious natural beach which forms the eastern end of Red Wharf Bay and is ideal for family fun, a dip in the sea, windsurfing, kite-surfing and quality sea fishing.
Located on the Anglesey Coastal Path, between Benllech and Penmon, the beach also offers short walks to Penmon Priory and Holy Well.
Why not visit the picturesque little town of Beaumaris, with its array of shops, tea rooms and magnificent castle and moat?
This is a charming cottage in a lovely tranquil location, perfect for all outdoor activities or a quiet getaway break with friends and family all year round.
