  • "We’ve just enjoyed a fabulous week in this large, but very homely farmhouse."

It was spotless and very well equipped. Gareth was very generous in supplying wood for the log burner, some very tasty Welsh cakes and a bottle of Prosecco! You will find it very peaceful and beautiful scenery, no matter what the weather is doing.. it’s a great spot to explore the whole east side of the island, but really not too far to get anywhere. We walked, cycled and chilled with a fire on a rainy day. I thoroughly recommend this place.

  • "Bod Feddau is a lovely place to stay."

It’s full of character, and the location is terrific. The view of the Snowdonia range was a highligh, as were the walks I was able to do straight from the doorstep. I really enjoyed seeing the owner’s flock of sheep make their self-guided trip past the front door to the next field every day. If you have a telescope I would bring it; you get proper dark skies. There’s a fair bit of bird life too; buzzards over the nearby copse, plus a yellow wagtail, numbers of robins and blackbirds, and others I couldn’t identify! No wifi may not be a bonus for everyone, but my mobile signal was surprisingly good (Virgin, 4G most of the time). It must be a great place to stay for Christmas, what with the log burner and the peaceful atmosphere. We loved it.

The cottage was a sensation, a little out of the way but that only added to it's charm. Wonderful sun rises and sun sets over the Menai amid the sheep and cattle that surrounded us. We'd been to Angelsey on numerous ocassions but found even more sensational beaches very close to the cottage, truly a wondrous location. We could not have asked for more!

  • "The secluded location of the cottage was fantastic with stunning views all round."

The large conservatory was a particular favourite spot to sit in for our 85 and 86 year old mothers. Overall the cottage was very well proportioned, well kitted out and with a very welcome feel about it. This was complemented by the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner Gareth. Would definitely recommend it as a place to stay for couples or larger families who appreciate the joys of the countryside.

  • "This cottage is a wonderful rural retreat."

It’s location is quite isolated which is exactly what we wanted. A perfect venue to “get away from it all.” Our two young children thoroughly enjoyed their time there and as parents, we felt they were very safe. The views are spectacular. The cottage was furnished with everything we needed. The beds were so comfy! We ate in most days, enjoying many a relaxing evening perusing the wide variety of books. Bingo proved very popular too! The cottage is accessed via an established track, but if you drive a swanky large car, it may make you a little nervous! We don’t, as you wouldn’t enjoy the islands wonderful narrow and twisty roads if you drive that type of vehicle. We loved meeting the sheep on route to the cottage too! We’ve been visiting Anglesey for over 40 years and this was a perfect place to stay. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday.

The views were amazing. Cows and sheep were friendly and made the whole experience wonderful. We had lovely weather so we could see all the surrounding views. The tranquil area was just what was needed. We could walk to nearby areas and drive when necessary. We had a basket of goodies on our arrival which we thoroughly enjoyed. Everything was thought of so we did not have to worry about the basic things. Even my 85 Yr old father had an amazing time. He particularly enjoyed the views reminiscing about his holidays in Wales since he was a child. The whole island is full of history. Thank you to Gareth for the chats and making sure we were settled. Would highly recommend this property for anyone seeking a perfect holiday.

The cottage was stunning. Clean, well equipped and the views from the conservatory were simply magnificent . We explored lots of Anglesey whilst there, enjoying dramatic coastlines, wildlife and an abundance of spring wildflowers. Gareth the owner was helpful and friendly, and popped by to make sure we’d had a good stay. We’ve stayed in lots of cottages in the past, but this is one of my favourites and we loved it so much, we’d like to go back which we wouldn’t normally do. I’d highly recommend this place. It’s quiet and peaceful with fab views... just what we needed. X

The cottage was very welcoming and cosy, with lots of good books to read. It was even in walking distance to a lovely quiet beach, though the walk back uphill wasn't exactly a stroll! We went to visit Beaumaris, Conwy and Canarfon castles as well as Plas Cadant Gardens all of which were good. The owners were extremely friendly and popped round to see if we were ok a couple of times. We were left welsh cakes and fizz as well as chocolate eggs for our daughter which was a lovely welcome gift. We would definitely recommend staying here and will hopefully return.

They went out of their way to help us when we had a problem. The cottage is beautiful and quite, just what we wanted. It's the nicest cottage we've ever rented. Plenty to do around the island and on the mainland. No Wi-Fi there, which was a bonus for us ~ our teenagers went exploring instead of spending time online. We're looking forward to returning. His lovely wife had left us a bottle of Prosecco and home made Welsh Cakes which were so appreciated. Great place on the Eastern side of Anglesey to get around. Would recommend that you get prepared for a bit of a bumpy ride getting across the fields but you soon get used to it. Large and spacious home with everything you need to make your stay memorable. Warm and cosy with the log burning stove in the lounge. Plenty to do and see further afield.

So peaceful and beautiful. We had everything we needed and more. Eleri and Gareth were so lovely, thank you again for everything... and thank you for the homemade reindeer carrot cake. I bought extra bags of logs for the fire, as we enjoyed having it lit so much, even when it wasn't that cold. And on cold nights, we truly loved huddling together by the fire.
