Hosts living next door are very nice and welcoming. It is ideal for those who love countryside life and animals as there is active farm right next door. Would be back again. And hope weather stays warm next time.

) The kitchen has everything you need, with good tall fridge freezer and oven. Richard and Ann were so lovely and accommodating and let our children feed the new born lambs and chickens. The views are spectacular and was lovely to watch the animals each morning. Would highly recommend

  • "Just back from a lovely stay here."

Great little property with amazing views. So quiet there too and the cows in the fieldsaround the property were a big hit with the kids. House had everything you need, owners are lovely and checked in on us but left us in peace. They left us a delicious cake on arrival plus milk, newspaper and drinks which was as lovely touch. Great location for accessing beaches, Beaumaris, and lots of family tourist attractions. The local beach in Llandonna was stunning, enormous and practically deserted. Nearby Red Wharf Bay was also stunning with lovely places to eat in the water. Good big spar shop ten minutes away and lots of pubs in the area for meals. Would definitely recommend this place, it was just lovely.

Spacious kitchen dinner and large living room means its comfortable space to be. Garden space is a welcome area, nice and flat grass and slabs. We stayed with 2 children (5 yrs and 20 months) and it suited our needs well. Was provided a stair gate, high chair and travel cot as requested and this meant less to pack.

About the location

BEAUMARIS

Menai Bridge 4 miles.

Beaumaris is a well known historic town on the Isle of Anglesey situated on the Menai Strait and overlooking the Snowdonia mountain range, making for the most stunning of sunrises. With its medieval castle (now a World Heritage site) dating back to the reign of Edward I and its Victorian pier, gaol and courthouse, it is also known as a major centre for yachting. Beaumaris is rich in history and retains much of its medieval street pattern. It’s setting, diversity of architectural styles and periods, differing scale, open spaces, varying roofs and overall quality contribute greatly to the town’s character. There is a good selection of shops, restaurants and public houses, as well as fishing opportunities and boat trips in the town, plus a golf course nearby. Along the coast is a large bay called Red Wharf Bay; its Welsh name is Traeth Coch (Red Beach) and the area is renowned for its glorious sunsets. The bay is very shallow and at low tide, almost 25 square kilometres (10 sq. mi.) of sand is uncovered providing safe bathing, perfect for wonderful family fun, fishing and miles of stunning scenic walks. Further afield is the port of Holyhead, which has regular ferry links to Dublin. Beaumaris is a good central base for touring Wales, in a beautiful location on the south coast of the picturesque Isle of Anglesey, within easy reach of the spectacular mountains of Snowdonia.
