  • "Stunning views for this very clean accommodation."

  • "We had a lovely two week stay here in May."

The house is very comfortable and was great for our toddler, baby and dog - all very clean and well equipped and no stairs to fall down! There are also a lot of family friendly things to do locally, as well as very easy access to the beach opposite and beautiful walks. The sea view and sunsets are amazing and made our evenings really special once we had succeeded in wrangling both children into bed and opened a bottle of wine! The facilities etc were all great and the owners were extremely helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again.

  • "The cottage is nicely furnished and we'll equipped."

The hosts are very welcoming and helpful, but leave you to yourself. The location is stunning, it is my favourite part of the island. The views from the lounge, main bedroom and the terrace are wonderful. It is a place for enjoying peace and quiet away from the bussle of everyday life. This is my 2nd stay at Hen Felin and the 3rd is already booked.

  • "We had an absolutely fantastic holiday, thank you to James and his wife for being so welcoming and friendly."

The cottage is beautiful with the most amazing views of Red Wharf Bay. Everything was available in the cottage for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The lawn and hedges were perfectly kept and the garden area was so pretty. A very peaceful break away, in a beautiful part of Wales. We hope to return (this was our 2nd visit). Only minor thing is we found a crisp packet under one of the bedroom units, so it could do with a deep clean. Everything else was nice and clean, the bed, linen, crockery etc.

It`s location is absolutely stunning. It`s not "Grand Designs" - it`s not decked out in aspirational bling, but I`m sure that most people who enjoy what Anglesey has to offer, will find it as delightful as we did.

For us, a peaceful mid-winter retreat with great views, very comfortable and easy to feel at home. Everything was exactly as described and we would certainly make a return visit.

Owners absolutely charming. Ideal spot for walkers and people looking to chill away from it all, just in tune with nature. No tv needed for a week as the sunset was more interesting and soothing. An inspiring place that will make great memories for me and my dog Hugo.

The owners live next door and it was nice to know they were on hand if we needed anything. The views are beautiful and the children had hours of fun digging in the sand and swimming in the sea. Take your camera for the sunsets!

The views are amazing! Would definitely recommend staying here. The owner was really friendly and the cottage itself was cosy and homely which made our stay even better. We will definitely be coming back. We stayed in the winter which was fab but could imagine in the summer for it to be even better as the beach is literally on the doorstep.

Beautiful, quiet beach (once you manoeuvred the rocks) with the most amazing sunsets (when it wasn’t too cloudy)! Highly recommend and hope to return one day! Loved everything (but could do with a hair dryer)!

  • "This hidden gem has to be one of the best locations in Anglesey."

The cottage is lovely. Clean, spacious and well equipped. The terrace and gardens offer the most spectacular views over the beach and out to sea, with the beach being almost deserted at times. Owners James and his wife were helpful and friendly and on hand for advice or a chat about the local area, restaurants etc. Our second visit, with the third already booked for next year! The cottage is quite remote but in a great location for visiting all the great attractions that Anglesey has to offer - so a car is a must! If you like peace, tranquility and the best sea view ever then don’t hesitate ... book it

  • "James and Lesley are delightful hosts and make sure everything is in order."

The cottage has a wonderful view over the bay and we watched the tide come in and go out, and the sunsets are just beautiful. The drive up to the cottage is a challenge and we were disappointed that there is only one settee when the pictures did, and still do, show two. That aside we loved the ambience and have already booked again for next year.
