  • "Lovely cute holiday cottage, it is small but tastefully decorated and perfect for us and our son."

The stairs are steep and take a bit of getting used to and quite awkward at night if a bathroom trip is needed. The owners are lovely and very welcoming and the grounds and views are fantastic. The walk to Llandona beach from the property is steep but very manageable. We'd not hesitate to book again.

  • "A great stay and lovely, welcoming hosts."

The location is great for Llandonna beach and is very quiet and relaxing. The property is small but all you need for a couple or small family. As others have said the stairs are very steep and will not suit everyone. Also the wi-fi does not work, this didn't really worry us but in this day and age is an expectation for most. But we certainly recommend and will hopefully return.

  • "The little house ,yes it is little and basic ,the facility’s average only ."

The main issue is the stairs they are very steep and you must come down them backwards which is a pain in the night when you want to use the toilet which is downstairs. Cooking facilities very basic ,no oven . Gas hob ok.The owners very friendly and welcoming. If you have any problems climbing stairs then forget this property.

. Lovely touches by hosts homemade cakes on arrival. Not suitable for the infirm due to steep stairs which is noted. Highly recommend

  • "The Little House is a great base for an Anglesey holiday."

The cottage is warm and comfortable with a lovely little kitchen and a TV/DVD player. Our hosts Rod and Margaret were marvellous. They made us welcome with a bottle of prosecco, welsh cakes and home made jam! And put us in touch with just the right garage when our exhaust fell off! The Little House's location is excellent for walks, beaches, interesting towns, castles and chuches. Fantastic!

  • "This is a wonderful cottage and I would highly recommend a stay in this property."

The owners live next door and they are so friendly and even provided us with homemade Welsh cakes and fresh eggs. It has a cosy secluded feeling but is actually close to Beaumaris. We would happily stay there again.

With access to fabulous near by beaches and towns. The owners were to hand if you needed them. Very friendly and very helpful in suggesting local and island trips. Will be going back.

  • "The owners of this beautiful cottage are so accommodating and helpful."

Offering homemade Welsh cakes and rides on their horse for my two children. On arrival homemade biscuits and other goodies to enjoy. Llanddona is a great base to explore Anglesey and the beach nearby is stunning ; with parking and a little cafe. We loved our stay here.

Two adults, a 4 year old and a dog and we all loved our stay. The hosts were just so welcoming and made us feel at home right away. House is in a beautiful quiet location but so many lovely local beaches/towns a short drive away. We can’t wait to go back.

  • "I was not impressed with Sykes at all as the listing stated pet friendly was not clear enough."

They listed this as pet friendly then after we had made the booking it stated you cannot leave the pet unattended at any time which is crazy. I called to complain and asked for a refund which Sykes refused as I should have read this in terms and conditions. The lady was the least helpful person I have ever come across. I asked what I was supposed to do with my dog if we went into a nice restaurant. She had no answer. Something as important as should be listed on the advert and I feel it was a complete mis-sell. After we had made the booking the pet policy was clearly stated in my welcome email but by this point it was too late. The cottage and the owners were absolutely amazing and lovely people In such beautiful surroundings. They were very accommodating in our dilemma above. We had a great break and a great time in a lovely part of Wales. Not impressed with Sykes in the slightest mainly due to pet friendly policy not being clear enough. That aside no other issues with Sykes. The above is no reflection on the owners and we had an amazing break but would advise to read the pet friendly terms on any listing before booking with Sykes.

  • "This property was fantastic."

A nice peaceful village in Anglesey with the cottage easily accessible but just enough off the beaten track to have lovely peaceful surroundings and views of the mountains from the windows. The cottage had two upstairs bedrooms one leading on from the other and was perfect for the three of us (two adults and a 3 year old) but would have been great for a couple or small family. The stairs were steeper than normal house stairs but a safety gate was provided for the top and it was no issue for us at all. A main lounge with TV and a separate dining room meant plenty of space and the kitchen was perfect for what we needed. As the listing says no true oven but there was a combination microwave and full gas hob and full sized fridge so we were absolutely fine for a week. The owners are lovely, very welcoming and friendly, they live on site in a separate house so were there if needed but unobtrusive the rest of the time. The whole property and grounds are lovely, a good size outside space with table and chairs, comfy beds inside, a fire if needed. We would go back next week if possible! Loved it!
