"We had a very pleasant stay."
The property is comfortable and spotless. Beds very comfy.

"This was a very nice (!"
) small house for a family of two adults with two kids; very well maintained and well-located on the Anglesay island. Tip-top, we can highly recommend it. In the future it might be a good idea to invest in a dishwasher and a dryer as an addition to the washing machine.
Thanks for your positive comments; I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. When the washing machine needs to be replaced, I will replace it with a washer dryer; I have thought about a dish washer but finding a suitable space for it would be tricky and I felt the tabletop freezer would be more essential. "Cottage was in a lovely spot, could do with a slight upgrade to the furniture and bed mattresses."
Apart from that there was everything you need, kitchen well stocked with utensils pots pans etc. We had a great time touring the island easy to find the small towns. 9/10 overall,

"Booked this at the last minute and we were not disappointed - wonderful find!"
Lovely bungalow, very clean and well kept and in a good position for Beaumaris and other parts of the island.. Pub right opposite serves lovely food and was very welcoming - especially to the dog! Will definitely be back!
Thanks very much for your kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed your visit - I hope the dog did too! Property Owner

"Lovely property, well situated."
-
"A comfortable quiet place with easy access to the remainder of the island."
-
"Good location for the beach."
Property was clean and comfortable. A bit small for 6 people, but would be ideal for 2 adults and 2 children. A very narrow gate to enter drive so probably unsuitable for larger/wide vehicles. The porch and front doors can be tricky to open but manageable. Boiler can be very noisy in 3rd bedroom, as well as the fridge/freezer, but the rest of the property is quiet. All essentials were included in the kitchen for cooking and eating, plus an iron and ironing board, blankets and hot water bottles etc. Overall, we had a really lovely stay and would recommend the property.

"Great cottage, it had everything we needed, we found it very clean, comfortable and a great location."
Very handy for the beach. And having the pub opposite just topped off a great little holiday. We’d definitely book again.

"Issue with jamming front door, broken fridge hard to open back door."
Too many issues for the price paid.
Thanks for your feedback. Apologies for the front door; the door has been repaired and the lock replaced recently. The problem seems to be caused by the porch getting warm in sunny weather and the door expanding, which does make it "sticky". Leaving the inner front door open in sunny weather alleviates the problem. We haven't had any issues with the back door previously so I will look into this. The door compartment of the fridge is wear and tear which is difficult to deal with mid season. Property Owner

About the location
BEAUMARIS
Menai Bridge 4 miles.
Beaumaris is a well known historic town on the Isle of Anglesey situated on the Menai Strait and overlooking the Snowdonia mountain range, making for the most stunning of sunrises. With its medieval castle (now a World Heritage site) dating back to the reign of Edward I and its Victorian pier, gaol and courthouse, it is also known as a major centre for yachting. Beaumaris is rich in history and retains much of its medieval street pattern. It’s setting, diversity of architectural styles and periods, differing scale, open spaces, varying roofs and overall quality contribute greatly to the town’s character. There is a good selection of shops, restaurants and public houses, as well as fishing opportunities and boat trips in the town, plus a golf course nearby. Along the coast is a large bay called Red Wharf Bay; its Welsh name is Traeth Coch (Red Beach) and the area is renowned for its glorious sunsets. The bay is very shallow and at low tide, almost 25 square kilometres (10 sq. mi.) of sand is uncovered providing safe bathing, perfect for wonderful family fun, fishing and miles of stunning scenic walks. Further afield is the port of Holyhead, which has regular ferry links to Dublin. Beaumaris is a good central base for touring Wales, in a beautiful location on the south coast of the picturesque Isle of Anglesey, within easy reach of the spectacular mountains of Snowdonia.
