  • "We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Nyth Y Wennol in October."

Sian and Steve were incredibly welcoming and helpful, but gave us our own space and privacy. The cottage itself is beautifully furnished and decorated with everything you could need. The bed is very comfy, the cottage was lovely and warm and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. The living room is a lovely cosy space with a good-sized TV and a little fire which we didn’t actually need to use due to the underfloor heating. The bathroom is really luxurious with a huge bath and a powerful shower. We will definitely be staying here again when we return to Anglesey. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a home away from home.

  • "Absolutely lovely little cottage."

Perfect base to explore Anglesey. Steve and Sian are the perfect hosts. The book they lent us for walks was a massive help as we would not have seen so much of the beautiful island.

  • "This was the perfect cottage to stay in as a quiet getaway."

The pictures online do not do it justice and that is saying something! The cottage is extremely clean and is set in a lovely, quiet location. The rooms were well kept and provided a cosy feeling. The bed was really comfy (very important!!) with clean sheets. The bathroom was massive with a great shower and bath. The hosts, Sian and Steve, were extremely helpful and welcoming during our stay. We will definitely be re booking in the future!

  • "The property as described above is exceptional and has been renovated from derelict outbuildings to a high standard by the owners Sian and Steve."

We loved the mixture of original stonework and modern facilities which gave the cottage a Wow factor on first viewing----its even better than the photos on Sykes website !!!!! Sian and Steve were really friendly and helpful. If Anglesey is one of your favourite holiday venues, you should make Nyth y Wennol your chosen cottage for sightseeing/walking or any other favourite activities. Highly recommended.

  • "The cottage was beautifully presented and furnished."

The owners Steve and Sian were extremely friendly and made us feel they were genuinely glad to have us there and that any issues (though we had none!) wouldnt be a problem for them. We would certainly recommend their cottages to anyone wishing to stay in that lovely part of the world.

  • "Truly amazing place so much character that you don't get on the pictures."

Open views over fields at the back from the rear patio area. Lovely conversion & a great deal of attention to the fixtures & furnishings. Relatively un-spoilt beach & coastal walks a few minutes away. Also close to the very pretty fishing village of Cemaes & The Black Lion pub is only a few minutes away nice place serving good food at a reasonable price.
