The host Joyce was very friendly and if we needed anything she was always on hand to help. We lost the WiFi after 2 days and she was very proactive in getting it sorted for us. Thank you. Location was spot on, we went for quite a few walks from the cottage and the views were great. It was so peaceful in the evening, so we all slept really well. Would highly recommend and would like to return someday soon.

Thank you so much for your kind comments.. very much appreciated. Hope to see you again! Property Owner

  • "We have stayed in quite a few lovely cottages through Sykes but this one excelled all expectations."

This cottage is clean, spacious, comfortable, extremely well equipped and the furnishings are beautiful and of a high quality. The owner was welcoming and helpful but did not intrude on our holiday. She made us welcome by providing a bottle of milk and a delicious cake on our arrival. Sitting in the garden at dawn and dusk the sounds from the local wildlife are delightful. Also the very small amount of light pollution gives a wonderful vista of stars on a clear night. Cannot recommend more highly.

  • "The kitchen was more than fully equipped, there was not anything that you would not have had at home."

The views from all four sides were superb, not overlooked. There were cattle that came right up to the kitchen window/door each morning and evening which was a lovely bonus. There were nice little fairy lights above the fireplace and candles dotted around , again home from home. The conservatory was a lovely sunshine room where you could watch the tornado jets giving a personal demonstration from RAF Valley. Could not fault this place in any way, maybe a little draughty to sit out but that can only be expected as it is surrounded by fields, and I am only picking hairs as we had a lovely family meal around the garden table on one of our hottest days. The cottage is in a fairly remote place but that's how we like it and if you are ever thinking of selling the place , please give me first refusal! The owners have thought of everything, once again, Thank you x
