  • "Lovely stay."

Cottage had all we needed, including some useful items such as milk in fridge and some condiments etc. Good to know about downstairs bath and toilet in advance, and this was no real problem - useful whilst cooking to keep and eye on children in bath! The road is near a fast bend, but no problem re noise as it was only during day when we were out. An ideal base for not only Anglesey but also quick to reach centre of Snowdonia as well, but we were kept happy on local beaches.

  • "Thank you for a wonderful stay at Pedwar Gwynt."

The downstairs of the cottage is very spacious and well equipped and the upstairs is compact and functional as is usual in a traditional Welsh cottage. The cottage is cosy and welcoming and we really appreciated the open fire during what was quite a stormy week. the only slight downside was the level of road noise from passing traffic but this wouldn't put us off staying here again. many thanks, Tim

  • "On first appearance the cottage seems great."

Annoying to have the bathroom and toilet downstairs, but it is advertised as such. When we went to have our first shower, the support for the shower head was broken, meaning we had to hand hold the shower, not a great experience. We advised the owner, who sent someone round that evening to try to fix the problem, but a part was needed, so all he could do was to fix the shower head on a permanent set angle, meaning we could not move it for fear of it breaking again, after 4 days of this we were glad to get home to have a proper shower, and thankful we weren't staying longer. Also, the towels provided are not the best, it felt like drying yourself with sandpaper. Such a shame, as the owner made such an effort of leaving a welcome pack and the lounge and kitchen facilities were good.

We are disappointed to read your comments and receive such a low score. You mention the inconvenience of the bathroom being downstairs but acknowledge this is as advertised. The issue with the shower head was addressed immediately - had you made us aware that this had not been resolved to your satisfaction, we would have arranged a further visit without question. We appreciate your feedback regarding the quality of the towels and this has been addressed. Property Owner

  • "We enjoyed a great week in this cottage, which was a perfect base for exploring Anglesey."

The owners have thought of everything to make a stay comfortable including the provision of some staples and other goodies. Probably not a place to stay if you want to spend time in the cottage during the day, as RAF Valley jets very regularly fly over, and it is on a busy road. It was perfect for us however, as we were out walking or exploring this lovely area every day.

  • "The house was in a very good location to see all around the Island ."

Well equipped & clean . Loved the welcome package, & the amount of extras ie herbs ,condiments washing up liquid , even pods for the coffee machine. Nice welcoming text message off the owner too. The only snag was not having a w/c upstairs. Would recommend both your company for the ease in booking & keeping us informed & also the house itself

  • "Lovely cottage in a great location on Anglesey, close to a number of lovely beaches and not far to travel to other places."

The owners made sure that we had everything we needed including all the basic supplies (toilet roll, tea coffee, hand wash, washing up liquid etc, and welcoming items) and changing our towels and bedding halfway through our two week stay. We had a really lovely stay with lots to see, do and explore on the Island.

  • "Cottage was equipped with everything one could wish, and very clean."

It's location on the island was ideal for what we wanted - cliffs 12 miles or so to the North, idyllic coves and beaches within 5 miles, lots of prehistoric remains all over the Island. Rhosneigr not good for food - at least not for us.

  • "The location of the cottage is perfect - it is close to the beaches and it was quite central for us and the things that we wanted to do."

The things that let it down for us were the cleanliness when we arrived. We brought some cleaning materials ourself due to Covid-19 and when we gave the bathroom a clean, the floor was disgusting and we lifted visible dirt off of the bathroom, floors and the sofas. The general finish of the property was poor - the DIY did not seem to be of a high standard and everywhere you looked was appalling. The garden could do with some work to make it a nicer environment and some weeding! The master bed was not comfortable for us and the headboard wasn't attached to the bed so when you lent on it, it moved. The weather was cool during our stay but I imagine if it is hot, then the house would be very warm and being on quite a busy a-road, it was very noisy if you had the windows open. The overall size of the property was good for us, the owners provided lots of extras free of charge which was much appreciated. The facilities were good; e.g. TV, washing machine/drier, utility facilities, downstairs rooms are a good size, the bedrooms are quite small and no upstairs bathroom but this was fine for us.
