  • "What an amazing cottage."

The build finishes are superb and it is beautifully furnished and it is also incredibly well equipped with everything you could possibly want for self catering and the cleanliness is exceptional. The views are amazing and the hot tub and gardens are fabulous. All in all a real luxury stay. It is so quiet and peaceful but very near to supermarkets and cafes etc. Words cannot do this place justice. We can’t wait to go back

  • "This is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed ."

I had the most amazing time with friends in this fabulous place.. we work very hard and needed a place to relax and be together making memories ...this ticked every box I would highly recommend it . The owners are lovely people and every single aspect of this short break was made very special by this beautiful property and the facilities. The garden is immaculate as well as the property ...it was almost like no one else had stayed here previously ,it was so clean with high grade facilities but at the same time a home away from home Thank you for making it a great experience I would return in a heartbeat

  • "We loved our stay!"

The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. The home was lovely and warm and fab to come back into after the hot tub and was beautifully clean and well maintained ! The views were amazing and the children loved that they woke up to the sheep and lambs as their neighbours! ☺️ Shops were only a short drive away so we could stock up with necessities! Would definitely re book!

(4 adults 2 Teenagers.) There is nothing you will want during your stay the owners have thought of EVERYTHING! It is exactly as seen. Stunning location, exceptionally clean, stylish yet comfortable, and the Hot Tub was a fabulous bonus to our NY watching all the fireworks at 12! The owners communication was first class & friendly. The welcome package a lovely touch and very much appreciated! Cheers! With our thanks for a lovely relaxing stay. Wishing you all the best in 2022.

Will be booking to come and stay here again. Immaculate and so beautifully renovated and decorated. The log burner was perfect to sit in front of and relax looking out a the fantastic view. Loved the extra touches of prosecco, bread, milk and welsh cakes in the kitchen and all the necessary essentials needed for a relaxing and quiet weekend getaway. Thank you both x

  • "Hi for starters Rhian was very accomodating and happy to help at all times and gave us all we needed for our week holiday."

The beautiful property was clean tidy and well looked after and the freshly cut lawn with the spacious garden took it to a new level. The hot tub was a real luxury which was perfect for a windy night's chill! Rhian kindly provided each bed with two sets of towels which really helped out with using the hot tub, the beds were very comfortable which enabled a good night sleep and to wake up with the magnificent view looking out of the window. One slight difficulty was having one bathroom which meant having to stagger coming out of the hot tub. Overall it was a lovely holiday and we really enjoyed our stay.

  • "A fabulous week spent in this lovely bungalow."

We loved the finish and interior, very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with kit you need to make a family meal. Our toddler loved exploring the lawned and patio area, and we did a good few laps of the house whilst he explored! Our 7 year old struck up quite a friendship with the cows in the neighbouring field and spent lots of time feeding them grass from our side of the fence! This house was also perfect for my mother who has limited mobility as it’s all on one level. The only feedback would be to secure the blind cords at each window- they’re so tempting to play with from a toddlers perspective and we needed to tuck them up and away safely as they’re not secured to the wall. We’ve already looked to book for next year but the price has gone up quite significantly so we’ll need to think more about it. All in all a wonderful holiday, amazing views from the house and a different beach every day within twenty minutes.

The cottage was beautifully renovated to a very high standard. The amenities were excellent and all aspects were very well thought out. We wanted for nothing the whole trip and it felt like home from home. There were lovely touches such as beautiful flowers on the table and some foods/milk etc to get you going. I would highly recommend and will definitely visit again.

  • "Lovely weeks stay!"

The accommodation is all newly refurbished and the owners have provided everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The hot tub has fantastic views of the mountains in the distance and the garden area is very peaceful with the odd visit from the rabbits & cows in a nearby field. We were lucky enough to be to even get the B.B.Q. out that was provided. The cottage is set in the countryside but still well situated to allow easy visits to many of Anglesey's lovely beaches. The Owners were very helpful, would definitely recommend.

About the location

LLANFAIRPWLLGWYNGYLL

Menai Bridge 2 miles; Beaumaris 6 miles.

Affectionately known by the locals as Llanfair PG, the Anglesey village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrnd robwllllantysiliogogogoch, also known by its shortened name of Llanfairpwllgwyngyll has the longest place name in Europe. It was artificially named back in 1860 as a publicity stunt for the railway station and translates from Welsh as "St Mary's church in the hollow of the white hazel near to the fierce whirlpool and the church of St Tysilio of the red cave". Situated close to the Menai Straits, just off the Britannia Bridge, Llanfair PG has much to offer families. After having your photo taken next to the village nameplate at the railway station, head into the popular visitors centre for local tourist information. A short walk past the octagonal Toll House, towards Menai Bridge, will bring you to the Marquis of Anglesey statue and column which, for a small fee, you can climb the 115 steps to the top for superb views of the countryside and coastline. Nelson’s Monument can be easily reached on the banks of the Menai Straits, passing St Mary’s Church on the way. With several good pubs with restaurants, craft and gift shops and cafes, plus the beautiful Anglesey coastline within walking distance, there is plenty to entertain you all year round.
