• "Eight of us visited Tan Twr in mid April and were more than happy with our stay."

  The property was lovely, well maintained and had everything needed for the duration of our stay. Kath the owner messaged prior to arrival and was very helpful regarding check in etc. We were made very welcome with a small hamper of local produce on arrival and the all the rooms were very nicely decorated and spacious. Our trip was primarily to visit zip world with the kids but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the house was ideally situated for exploring Anglesey and north wales. Overall a 10 out of 10 and we hope to return to Tan Twr in the future.

• "This is a beautiful house that felt like home."

• "This is a beautiful house in a beautiful location."

  It is welcoming and well maintained and makes the best use of the setting. Everything we needed was on hand, and we had a wonderful stay. There were a few queries that came up as the week progressed but Kath was quick to respond to messages and everything was sorted quickly and without fuss. We had ice for a couple of days which made the steep driveway tricky for a couple of days, but salt was provided and with some care and patience we managed. Three cars in and out multiple times. Our daughter loved saying hello to the chickens next door each morning!

• "Fantastic property, can't fault it at all."

  Very well equipped, very comfortable, location perfect for exploring both Anglesey and North Wales without having to travel far. We stayed for 4 nights, which even in December wasn't enough, so we have already booked for next September.

• "Fantastic property for family get together."

  We were 3 families (6 adults 2 children) and so the bedroom /bathroom combo was perfect!. Lots of little extras left by owner, which some don't. House is in great position for days out, being 2 minutes from bridge to mainland and on A55 to travel around the island. Easy to contact owner if needed. Would definitely recommend 5*. We had a wonderful break.

• "We had a fantastic holiday in your lovely property!"

  The only teenie weenie gripe was the check in time and more so the check out time! Check in at 4pm we just felt by the time we got in and sorted the first day was wasted, also check out at 9am we felt that it was too early and we had our 4 month old granddaughter with us and getting her up and the car packed was a bit of a rush, thus spoiling the last day also! I know you have to get the property cleaned and sorted for the next family, but 7 hours seems a lot! We paid a lot for the the house for a week and it felt like we lost valuable time off our holiday, I know it was our choice knowing the rules but you did ask for our feed back! Other than that we had a fab family holiday!!! Thank you!

• "Lovely house with excellent facilities."

  All as described. Beds were comfy with nice bed linen, kitchen well equipped and bathrooms looked as new. It’s an ideal house for a group of adult sharers as three rooms have en suite and there’s plenty of seating space, lounge and dining, for everyone there. We all had a lovely long weekend, thank you

• "A fabulous place to stay for a family wishing to explore Anglesey and North wales."

  . plenty of parking and the views just sitting watching out of the Juliet Balcony are wonderful. There is ample space to not feel crowded and the facilities were great . Well equipped kitchen even a slow cooker and two ovens. Would highly recommend it . It’s spacious airy and light with all the windows. Highly recommend

• "We had a fabulous few days at Tan Twr."

  The property was clean, comfy and contained everything we needed. The view from the lounge was fantastic and the garden, although not enclosed, was far enough from the road for safety. The drive and steps are steep and would not be suitable for anyone with frailty or mobility issues. The village was easily walkable, although the road could be busy at times, and had a choice of pubs, takeaways etc. Kath was very welcoming and helpful and the welcome pack was a lovely surprise. • "We had a wonderful weekend at Tan Twr."

  The house fit two families and four paws comfortably. The owners were super helpful with extra questions we had before arrival. The house was really clean and well equipped - particularly the kitchen. Location wise it was a perfect base for us to explore from but also easy to get to as it’s just off the a55. Would definitely recommend and would absolutely stay again.

• "We have just returned from a lovely weeks holiday in this gorgeous property."

  All our needs were catered for, great kitchen appliances for the days when we stayed in and cooked, even two ovens. Beds very comfortable with beautiful cotton bedding. A lovely spacious home with lots of light and beautiful views, we would definetly like to return.

• "We booked Tan Twr over Christmas to be near my family."

  It is a stunning house, warm, modern, comfortable and clean. The large windows are great for a feeling of light and space. The views are stunning. The kitchen especially was great for Christmas with the large island coming in handy for buffet food display! This is house is great for hosting a few guests, with its large dining room table and communal space. On arrival we were welcomed with a huge twinkling Christmas tree, Christmas card and small hamper. The TV was also fantastic and we were able to log into all our apps like a Netflix and Disney+. Teenagers very happy! Communication with the owners was really good. Whilst we were there we got confused by the heating as it didn’t appear to be on at one point in the evening. After trying to investigate ourselves we sent a text. The owners responded quickly and talked us through the heating. They were very attentive to make sure the heating was working for us, which it did. This was on Christmas Eve so it was very appreciated. I can’t find much to fault this house. If pushed comment on anything, I would say that my teenage son was alarmed there were no locks on the bathroom doors. Not a huge problem but it made him a bit uneasy when we had my family pop over. Also, the kitchen knives were all blunt which made chopping veg for Xmas dinner slightly more difficult. However, this is real nit-picking. This is a wonderful house for a stay at any time of the year. We often come to Anglesey for Christmas and Tan Twr has been declared the best stay so far.

• "We are very experienced at this type of holiday home and I can truthfully say Tan Twr is one of the best we have been too there was nothing you needed, the owners had catered for everything, even a lovely welcome back, all amenities close by, shops, pubs, petrol station, we have stayed in Angelsea a number of times, next time it will be Tan Twr again."

• "We had a fabulous stay at Tan Twr there is absolutely everything you need at the house."

  Lovely welcome basket even treats for our pooch. Everything is also very good quality. We loved just sitting looking out at the view and talking the evening away. The paths along the road are very narrow not ideal with children but we did find short cuts through the lovely wood next to the house. Brilliant location easy to get to anywhere on Angelsey and what a stunning place will definitely head back one day.

• "Fabulous house for 3 couples in our group."

  Our first words were 'Wow'. Amazing entrance and open plan kitchen / living room upstairs. Three bedrooms with en suite and a twin (which we didn't use). Spotlessly clean. Lovely Welcome pack to greet us. Good views looking towards Snowdon. Pet friendly but garden not enclosed, so cannot let off the lead due to the busy road. Very steep driveway. Perfect location to explore Anglesey and North Wales.
