"Spotlessly clean and comfortable."

Plentiful supply of Cole & Co. soaps much appreciated especially in the shower. There are only two things I would request, a vase for flowers and better small lamps both in terms of quality and brightness. Would definitely visit again.

"We absolutely loved staying at Ty Coets."

The location was brilliant - the Anglesey coastal path was on our doorstep and the cottage was perfectly situated for daily excursions around the island. The cottage itself was spacious yet cozy. We especially loved sitting by the log wood fire at the end of a busy day out. Host Donna made us feel very much welcome and she went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. I would highly recommend!

"What a truly fabulous holiday home!"

Ty Coets was everything we could of wished for and more! From the sumptuous bedding, fluffy towels,the gorgeous home-wares, fabulous outdoor furniture and the high end utensils in the kitchen. Every single little thing had been carefully thought about by the lovely host. She had even left us a truly appreciated bottle of fizz which was chilled ready and waiting, as well as scrumptious cake, butter and milk. The house is situated within the most amazing countryside, with fantastic walks within a minute from the house, yet by car only a few minutes drive into Menai. If you are looking for a wonderful peaceful holiday, staying in 5* accommodation, then do not hesitate to book Ty Coets!

"The cottage looked good online, it was far better in reality."

It was beautifully decorated, you had everything you needed to stay there, quality utensils, dishwasher, cooker, microwave etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage, a good starting point for all the attractions in North Wales.

"We have had the most fantastic stay at Ty Coets."

The house was everything we could ever need and more!! Every single thing has been thought of to make a stay so comfortable, from the high end utensils, the gorgeous homewares, sumptuous bedding, fabulous woodburner and amazing setting!! We have enjoyed visiting 'Penrhyn Castle' and enjoyed eating at 'Dylans' and 'Hydeout' in Menai. We have enjoyed sitting outside in the courtyard garden, enjoying the gift of the prosecco in the beautiful sunshine. Thank you for letting us stay in your gorgeous house! xxxx

"When booking the property I enquired would it be possible to request an early check in, I was informed by Si to call the day before & enquire if that was possible, on doing so I was advised by your representative it was not something the office dealt with & had been misinformed."

I had wasted a considerable amount of time waiting for the call to be answered. I believe this to be a 5 star property & having booked through Sykes with friends previously in the same grade & received a comprehensive welcome pack were disappointed on this occasion to receive a small loaf & small carton of milk 1 teabag & sufficient tea & coffee for 3cups. The description of the property did advise the second phase of the development had commenced but we wouldn't be affected, this information was incorrect. Ty Coats is the 1st property from the main driveway & throughout our stay we experienced vans, tractors, transits & heavy lorries delivering materials & site workers passing starting at 7.15 am through to 4.30pm. Other properties on the development are not subjected to this disturbance as they are positioned in a courtyard. I would appreciate your comments & how you will restore our confidence in Sykes.

Ty Coets is a wonderful holiday cottage set within a pretty courtyard of Grade II renovated farm buildings.

This is a tranquil area within the countryside of Anglesey just outside of the popular village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch!.

The holiday cottage has been decorated so... The holiday cottage has been decorated so thoughtfully and carefully by the owner that it’s an utter delight to stay in.

You’re sure to have a happy family holiday here.

The living space is just gorgeous with its open plan layout and large coach house windows in plas newydd estate blue which look out over the garden. The Buxton Woodwork kitchen will make cooking a joy!.

It has an electric cooker and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, toaster and breakfast bar. To one side of the room is a farmhouse style wooden dining table and chairs that seat up to six people. In the sitting area is comfortable seating around a wood burning stove,a Smart TV and music system with Bluetooth and CD for entertainment. There is a cosy 'snug' seating area with a sofa with TV and DVD player.

On the ground floor is a double bedroom with a door that leads out into the patio garden and an ensuite with a shower, loo and wash hand basin.

On the first floor is a bedroom with a king size bed and a family bathroom with bath, hand held shower attachment, loo and wash hand basin, a twin bedroom with original beams and glaze view of the original stonework. The garden with its Welsh slate chippings, patio areas and garden furniture is fully enclosed.

There is designated parking for two cars plus visitor spaces if required. This holiday cottage is in a wonderfully peaceful location and boasts ancient woods and protected wildlife including newts, bats and red squirrels.

If you enjoy a stroll, there's direct access to the Anglesey Coastal Footpath or you can walk across to Plas Newydd historic house and gardens on the Menai Strait and attractions and places to eat and drink are all within a short drive. We recommend a trip to Newborough Forest, Warren and its long stretch of sandy beach.

There’s also a farm shop close by so you can pick up supplies.

LLANFAIRPWLLGWYNGYLL

Menai Bridge 2 miles; Beaumaris 6 miles.

Affectionately known by the locals as Llanfair PG, the Anglesey village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrnd robwllllantysiliogogogoch, also known by its shortened name of Llanfairpwllgwyngyll has the longest place name in Europe. It was artificially named back in 1860 as a publicity stunt for the railway station and translates from Welsh as "St Mary's church in the hollow of the white hazel near to the fierce whirlpool and the church of St Tysilio of the red cave". Situated close to the Menai Straits, just off the Britannia Bridge, Llanfair PG has much to offer families. After having your photo taken next to the village nameplate at the railway station, head into the popular visitors centre for local tourist information. A short walk past the octagonal Toll House, towards Menai Bridge, will bring you to the Marquis of Anglesey statue and column which, for a small fee, you can climb the 115 steps to the top for superb views of the countryside and coastline. Nelson’s Monument can be easily reached on the banks of the Menai Straits, passing St Mary’s Church on the way. With several good pubs with restaurants, craft and gift shops and cafes, plus the beautiful Anglesey coastline within walking distance, there is plenty to entertain you all year round.
