  • "We thoroughly enjoyed the house, the huge garden with hot tub/swings and the quiet location."

House is comfortable with plenty of room. Great additional living room with pool table. Had glorious weather so spent plenty of time outdoors at local beaches, walks, playing in the garden and watching the RAF Jets. Shops and food places are only 5-10 minutes drive away. Our first time here and we'd most certainly want to come back. Thanks Donna :)

  • "Lovely, quiet and peaceful getaway area."

Something to do all the time and for everyone. Lovely home and was bigger than we expected. Hot tub/pool table was a mint added bonus! Would recommend to others.

  • "This place was amazing, especially for children."

I enjoyed the views from the conservatory of the sheep and jets. There is a lovely walk to the beach and great scenery on the way. There was something for everyone.

  • "The location was great and with very lovely views from the conservatory and for watching all the planes flying from RAf Valley."

It was a fantastic house for a large group with lots to do for all ages, which in our family ranged from aged 6 to 79. The house was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, and all the facilities were brilliant, although another shower room would have been useful with such a large number of people in the house. We would definately go back again. Would highly recommend the Valley Pub in Valley for a fantastic Sunday Carvery and the local hotel the Cymran is very nice and the meals there were very reasonably priced.

  • "Took family and friends away to celebrate our ruby wedding anniversary."

Ages ranged from 3to 65 years old. There was something to please everyone, especially the hot tub and the jets flying overhead. Kids really enjoyed the playground even though the weather was not quite favourable they loved it. The indoor bb was a hit with all. Thankyou for a memorable anniversary.

  • "Fantastic week spent at the cottage, lots of space for everyone to sit around and relax without being on top of each other."

My nephew loved the "games room" and the hot tub !! All the facilities at the cottage are excellent and every room has been tastefully decorated. The children in our group loved the garden and the play area and watching the neighbouring sheep. We actually spent a lot of evenings in the conservatory watching the sheep go by... the BBQ hut is a brilliant addition to the garden. The owner Donna is a star - nothing was too much trouble and gave lots of helpful advise on where to visit / best beaches etc Definitely a place I'd love to go back to next year

  • "The holiday home was just as advertised with lots to entertain all of the family."

It was a wonderful break for all of us and the children's play area and the hot tub made it that little bit more special. Any problems we had were dealt with immediately by the owner and we would definitely go back again.

  • "Disappointed that Hot Tub could not be used but we were warned well in advance."

The Bungalow was all that we hoped for and more! Anybody hiring who did not like aircraft might be put off by the noise but the double glazing was very efficient and there was no flying at weekends and only between 8 and 5 in the week. Trains were only a faint rumble. Our 3yr old grandson was in heaven with the play area and the adults with the BBQ hut.

The property

A delightful, detached, ground floor cottage set in a quiet rural location, overlooking grazing fields in the small village of Llanfair-yn-Neubwll, a couple of miles from Valley and a one mile walk from the beaches and coastline surrounding Rhosneigr Bay.

A spacious and social cottage, with parts dating back to the 1760s, this lovely holiday home has been extended and renovated to offer an inviting property, with barbecue hut that's ideal for families to enjoy.

The main living area forms the hub of the home, with an open plan layout including a fitted kitchen with a breakfast area and a cosy seating area with a TV and woodburning stove.

A door leads off the kitchen into a large conservatory overlooking the garden, where there is further comfy seating and a TV, as well as a dining table for you all to settle around.

There is a second sitting room with pool table, TV and chill-out area that the children will want to make their own.

The bedrooms consist of three doubles, three twins and a single with a further toddler bed.

In addition, the master bedroom has a separate nursery room with a cot for the very young.

Outside you will find the delights of a Scandinavian barbecue hut, which can seat everyone in comfort on benches covered with fur pelts, and allows alfresco barbecue meals to be enjoyed all year round.

There is a playground area for the children to play safely, which includes a swing set, climbing frame with cargo net and a basketball hoop, as well as over half an acre of enclosed garden with lawns and a patio to explore.

The countryside surrounding this cottage offers great walks and access onto the Anglesey Coastal Path, which leads onto Cymyran Bay and the miles of golden beach in Rhosneigr cove, accessible within 20 minutes walk.

Further afield is the village of Rhosneigr, where you will find opportunities for swimming, surfing, especially kite surfing, together with water skiing and diving.

Continue up the coast towards Holyhead, which is well-known for being a busy ferry port, however the town also has a number of interesting attractions and is a bustling shopping and visitors area in its own right.

The current lighthouse is on South Stack, on the other side of Holyhead Mountain, and is open to the public, an area which is popular with birdwatchers.

A fantastic cottage for families and friends to enjoy year after year.

Note: This property has a refundable Good Housekeeping bond of £200.
