"Great place, lovely host and great location with epic sunset views."
Fflei the Collie was a great playmate for our Lab. Lovely clean and well maintained place with a great open plan layout, tonnes of storage and everything you could ever need. Fantastic base for family beach adventures. The only negative we had was the directions from Sykes which said to “turn left at the track immediately after the bungalow”……which is blatantly a huge two storey farm house with a massive conservatory. Despite explaining to the lady on the phone at Sykes that there wasn’t a bungalow on that road, she persisted in running through the directions. Please update so others can avoid the frustration.

"The property was exactly what we wanted for our first visit to Anglesey."
Everything was thoughtfully put together making it a really comfortable and easy place for the four of us to stay. The location and views were fabulous and so quiet. It gave us the perfect base to explore the island and get some much needed rest and relaxation. We would love to book again in the future.

Fantastic views in a peaceful setting.
The owner Cari is a very amiable well travelled chap a pleasure to chat to, accompanied by his working dog flea, who was very friendly with our little Dog.

The cottage was gorgeous, clean and with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The views are fabulous and sitting watching the sunset on the patio was just the tonic this busy family needed. There are great walks and beaches within a 10-20 minute drive and we loved the Black Lion for food. Thank you!

"We have had a very relaxing week in this gem of a cottage, it is so spacious and comfortable, very clean and it set in lovely countryside surrounded by rabbits and swallows."
It was a real pleasure to meet the owner Ceri and his gorgeous best pal Fflei the sheepdog. We would have no problem staying again if on this beautiful island of Anglesey, in fact after my brother came to visit us one day he immediately booked to come later in the year! The coastline is stunning,my favourite place is Llanddwyn island. We loved the Dingle walk through the woods near Llangefni and saw a few Red Squirrels .Moelfe has a beautiful safe cliff top walk and Church bay too. This time of year (May ) you will be amazed at all the spring flowers that cover the rocks in full glory. The Gorse and the Bluebells also give a good display. Parys mountain is fascinating with all its coloured rocks, it used to be a Copper mine but you can wander around on the foot paths. There is so much to discover still but it’s an easy place to drive around. Enjoy!

"We have recently had a lovely holiday staying at this cottage."
It is warm and welcoming and has been tastefully furnished with everything you would need for your stay. The views from the lounge and the patio, towards the sea, are stunning whatever the weather, and in the evening you can see the light from the Skerries lighthouse. Although situated down a country lane and very peaceful, it is close to the A5025 which gives easy access to Cemaes and the beautiful coves and beaches nearby. The owner, Ceri, who lives in the farmhouse is very friendly and helpful, aided by his lovely collie Fflei. We can highly recommend and would love to return.

"Absolutely beautiful cottage in a stunning location."
It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and spacious, we enjoyed every second of our weeks stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need for your stay. Lovely big porch/utility room to store your wellies, coats and shoes, which housed a washer/drier too which 3 of us and a dog fitted in when we returned soaked from a walk one morning without standing on each others heads!
There was a fully stocked cupboard containing every manner of cleaning product which saved us space in the boot (always wonder what to take and what will be supplied) including ironing board, iron and hoover. We were pleasantly surprised to find tea, coffee and milk left for us by the owner which was a lovely touch. Two double bedrooms, one with access to a small patio, while double doors led from the living room to a larger patio with fantastic views of the horizon which included the sea and the light house. We were incredibly lucky with the weather and explored a different beach each day, our favourites were church bay, sandy beach and Lligwy beach. The last two were huge and virtually empty which we loved!
The cottage is down a long hidden lane next to a large house, (sykes directions said it was a bungalow and we drove past it at first because we were looking for a bungalow not a house) its location is ideal as you feel remote with only the sounds of birds yet you are only 5 minutes from the main road which takes you all around Anglesey.
Watched foxes playing one morning and there was also a large buzzard we watched hunting most evenings. We also walked the coastal path which had absolutely incredible views, a brilliant holiday would love to return and would definitely recommend, 10 out of 10 from us!
