On arrival, there was a used face mask in the flower pot near the front door The glass cooker hood was not very clean. Having been told there would be no kitchen accessories Baco foil , cling film kitchen rolls , dish cloths fairy liquid etc. were all there , as were hand sanitiser and soap . Very confusing and annoying. There were no blinds on the velux windows in the upstairs bedrooms. Consequently we were awoken at the crack of dawn , 4 ish every morning on holiday is no fun !!!!!!! The ensuite to the second bedroom was very small what a shame the bathroom was so big , but our main concern there , was the BLACK MOULD IN 3 CORNERS OF THE SHOWER CUBICLE . I did take pictures. On the positive side the , location was superb . Views to die for , buzzards and rabbits every day , and the weather was very kind to us. We all came away very happy, with wonderful memories of all our activities , if a little sleep deprived .

About the location

Newborough 2 miles; Gaerwen 4 miles.

Llangaffo is a small village situated between Gaerwen and Newborough on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales. The village has views of the Menai Straits and the mountains of Snowdonia, and contains a local store and post office. It is also home to St Caffo’s Church which dates back to 1846 and was named after a 6th century saint who was killed nearby. Just two miles away is the village of Newborough which lies on the edge of forests and dunes, and is home to a population of red squirrels, one of only two colonies on Anglesey. Close by is Llanddwyn Bay, renowned as one of the finest beaches in Britain, ideal for swimming, canoeing, beachcombing and birdwatching or just relaxing! Behind the beach, the 1500 acre sand dune system of Newborough Warren is home to skylarks, meadow pipits and oyster catchers, as well as toads and lizards and is protected as a National Nature Reserve. The famous Anglesey Model Village, set in one acre of beautifully landscaped gardens, is within half a mile of the village centre and makes a fun day out for the whole family, and Anglesey Sea Zoo, Tacla Taid, the old vehicle museum and Foel Farm are nearby.
