  • "We had a very happy week in North Wales, helped by a clean and comfortable stay in Afon Ros Bach."

It had all the amenities one could wish for and was spotlessly clean upon our arrival. The welcome basket included tea, coffee, sugar and a delicious Bara Brith, the Welsh tea bread, plus milk in the fridge which was much appreciated. The only criticism we had was that the sofa wasn’t especially comfortable, but presumably most people won’t spend too much time sitting down whilst on holiday! Otherwise it was a very happy holiday indeed.

Thank you very much for your kind feedback. We are so glad that you had a happy stay at Afon Rhos Bach. Following your feedback, we would like to inform you that we have replaced the sofa with a far more comfortable recliner! Kind regards, Denis and Lorna Property Owner

  • "The accommodation was very clean, well equipped kitchen and comfortable for our week’s stay."

Location was perfect for getting to all areas of North Wales and would recommend the local pub The Glyntwrog for food and drinks and within easy walking distance. The owners were very friendly and keen to ensure our stay was as good as possible. There was a welcome pack provided which was great, would have appreciated some hand soap and an extra toilet roll but that’s being very picky! Overall a great place and would highly recommend.

It is very modern and clean and has everything you could want. The views were lovely from the lounge too. I would say that as a disabled person with back issues I did not find the bed and sofa very comfortable but I have had worse,

Just one thing, it would be helpful to have had a mirror other than the bathroom one, rather difficult drying hair, other than that, superb.

  • "Overall a beautiful, spotlessly clean cottage in a great location for exploring the area."

The owners are lovely and available if any problems arise. The only (slight) negatives on a personal preference level for us were, the mattress was too firm and the sofa wasn’t very comfortable. An extra mirror, maybe in the hall or bedroom would be good too. All in all we had an excellent week and would have no hesitation recommending this cottage.

The bed was very comfortable and at night time was very quiet, cant remember how long ago it was, when we slept this well.# Beautiful views and outside private space (for outdoor eating and drinking). The holiday annex was really modern, clean and cosy: comfortable bed, lovely pillows & fabulous rain shower (towels were provided too) . The well equipped kitchen served us well as we cooked for ourselves all week. It's set in a peaceful location - yet easily accessed within minutes from main road - surrounded by fields with some sheep and cows and views of green hills and even the peak of Snowdon. A great location for walkers or for daytrippers to castles and pretty locations. The owners are really friendly & helpful and provided some extras to start our week: lovely Bara Brith (a cake), milk - a few tea bags, coffee, sugar in case we forgot - dishwasher tablets, washing powder etc.
