  • "This is our second stay at Petlyn's and I was so glad to see they've now fully repaired the track road with smooth paving."

Everything else in Petlyn's was the same high quality and would not hesitate to book a third time.

  • "Needs some major updating re bathroom radiators."

Needed to have been heated prior to arrival as was could and had a damp feel. Did not mention on advert that the access road was like a stream with deep pot holes which was a risk to low profile cars That said property was within easy reach to visit places, and the owner was very polite when contacted 4 key code. The property was also very easy to find.

  • "In general the small bungalow was ok, though 5 would be a squash."

The corridors and kitchen are so narrow. The bathroom needs upgrading and cleaned more thoroughly, but all in all it was fairly clean, though radiators and kettle and a few other things had stains and dust on them, which didn't fill me with confidence the beds were ok, so glad I'd taken my own pillow. None of that compared to the 'track' to reach the property. It was basically a stream, with all the pot-holes, ruts, grooves and debilitated tarmac that would have destroyed my car's exhaust and wheel bearings. I had to park on the main road and walk everything up to the bungalow (5 trips) with an adult with special needs and a dog in extreme heat was NOT a good start to our break. This really needs mentioning and I am appalled it was not made clear. Saying the track was 'tight' does not mention if you value your car, please don't try this. Once in and sorted, the decking was pleasant to sit. We hadn't experienced a hot tub. Chlorine kept getting in my eyes, so turned off bubbles and much better, but still, a hot bath outside...? We enjoyed the many 'treats' left for us, my daughter especially enjoyed the chocolate.

Hosts were very friendly when we first went to look at the property because they were there getting it ready for us. Very comfortable, quiet and well kitted out property and the hot tub was a welcome bonus. Good location in the middle of Anglesey meaning it was easy to get around the island.

  • "Brilliant home-from-home."

We stayed with four adults and a ten year told, and there was above and beyond space for everyone. Each bedroom had everything you would need. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked should we have needed anything. And the hosts were fantastic at communicating when we had questions. We will stay again! Thank you.
