  • "We had a great stay here and really pleased we found it :) Helen and Rick the hosts were really lovely and welcoming and helped wherever possible."

The cottage is lovely, very clean and very well maintained. The garden around is also lovely and we enjoyed watching the ducks! It's in a very handy location fot reaching all parts of the island so we enjoyed visiting most parts of Angelsey. I hope to be back and I'd definitely recommend staying here to others :)

It’s a great base to explore Anglesey and the hosts were lovely, had a good chat, made some recommendations on places to go and made a good fuss over the baby (she loves being fussed haha)

Rick and Helen are warm and friendly hosts and nothing seemed too much trouble for them, from starting up a freezer for us to showing us around their gardens, bringing us deckchairs, and even some home grown rhubarb! We loved the herbs growing outside each cottage and the summer house. It was a most convenient base for completing our walk around Anglesey.

  • "Fantastic place to stay, nice and ‘out of the way’ but not far to drive to some lovely locations."

The cottage is beautiful, only draw backs being that by it’s nature it is quite compact so my tall (6ft4) other half found it awkward to stand and use toilet (sloping roof made it tricky to get close enough). The downstairs soft seating is 2 seater sofa that can squeeze a 3rd, single soft chair and beanbag, no issue for us as the kids were more than happy to settle on the bean bag. Perhaps worth considering a small shoe rack just inside the front door. We would not hesitate to come back! The hosts, grounds and cottage are wonderful! Thank you

Everything that we hoped for. A lot of work must go in to keeping the cottages so inviting and homely. The owners Helen and Rick were very friendly and always on hand to help with anything. Deri Fawr had a really welcoming atmosphere. Delighted to finally see a red squirrel along with all the other wildlife, including a woodpecker. Would definitely go back if we visit Anglesey again. Beautiful accommodation slightly bigger than expected and very comfortable. The hosts Helen and Rick are really lovely and made sure that we had everything we needed and advised of places that we were'nt aware of and are very knowledgable of the area. The upkeep of the grounds and gardens you can see the hard work they put in and guests are rewarded with amazing wildlife by the many bird feeders. We had rabbits running pass the cottage and 3 waddling ducks came to greet us each morning. Would be brilliant for families & perfectly central location to see all parts of Anglesey. I will definately recommend them and they have a facebook page Deri Fawr Holiday Cottages and Caravans. A very peaceful and relaxing holiday.
