  • "Parking - you did not forewarn us that we had to pay the Local Authority a daily fee & worse that we had to get up by 8am every day to pay !"

The property is in the middle of a building site as next door is having an extention. The owner left an undated notice to him from the Contractors warning of such works from 22/,8 which should have been advised to us. Rear yard is a death trap , constructed at 45 degrees of uneven 1 to 2 feet high crumbling steps & grossly overgrown making it unusable. Railing on main stairway loose & dangerous. Local Authority notified. Lots of lighting not working , lightshades missing , kitchen very basic eg no cooking utensils ( not even a spatular ! ) nor drinking vessels ie cups nor mugs & no microwave. Photographs are available as proof. We have many other issues eg rubbish disposal , inadequate fridge/freezer etc …... We did email you within an hour of our arrival with some concerns but yet to receive a response. We want your response & an explanation why you rent out such an unsuitable property to the public.

Hi Susan. Firstly please accept my sincere apologies that you had issues during your stay. I didn't receive your email unfortunately, but had I you would have received a response straight away. In terms of the parking, it is noted on the listing that it is a pay car park. There is also free on road parking in the village. I was also unaware of the building work next door, and again apologies for this. Of concern is the lack of crockery as there should have been ample and I will investigate Property Owner
