  • "Had a really nice week."

Cottage was very comfortable and cosy with everything provided. In a quiet lane with walks for the dogs on the doorstep and just a short walk into Menai Bridge which has all the usual amenities. Would definitely return for another week to keep exploring the island.

So pleased you had a good week Simon. Please do come back, whenever you want! Katy. Property Owner

  • "We had a great time at Ael y Bryn, it was well presented, comfortable and warm, we found it very easy to settle in as it had all the amenities and facilities that you would want to find in a well kept cottage."

We found the location was just perfect, quiet, peaceful, and not too far from the town centre. Our dog enjoyed it too, there was plenty of tiled space for cleaning him after a day out in the fields and paddling in the sea. We appreciated the little things that you don't normally find in holiday cottages, like dog blankets, feeding bowls etc'. We found that whatever we needed was at hand and ready for our use and comfort. It is a credit to the owners, Thank you very much for letting us have a great week away.

So glad your dog had a good time! We love dogs and try to make it just as comfortable for them as for their humans. ;-) Property Owner

We also loved having sharp knives as so many holiday homes have dreadful ones. It was a lovely holiday and we’d be very happy to go back.

  • "The cottage was brilliant."

I had a 92 year old and 88 year old with us so having downstairs bedroom and bathroom was perfect. The cottage is within walking distance of Menai which was great too. Would have been nice to have a BBQ. The freezer was completely frozen and the fridge was too small. But these things are easily solved. The cottage was great and we had a really relaxing holiday x

Everything was perfect, the only thing I can think to add would be some toys for younger children/toddlers (my older children loved the Lego!) Beds were super comfy and the garden with plum tree just lovely.

It is in a quiet location which was perfect for what we wanted but on our doorstep were a number of country walks. Also the town of Menai Bridge is within walking distance (downhill all the way, so up hill all the way back). All the many highlights of Anglesey are within easy striking distance to explore as is the mainland as you are in the shadow of the Menai Bridge. The owners are lovely and all correspondence was prompt and helpful as is the welcome pack telling you all the details of local activities available. This property is highly recommended and we would not hesitate to book again Thank for allowing us to stay at this wonderful well equipped cottage. Ivan, Halifax
