This is a holiday ‘cottage’ in Menai Bridge with a difference!
The Boathouse sits within a pretty garden in Cadnant Gate and overlooks the Menai Strait.
From the cottage you can see across towards Snowdonia and across to the Menai suspension bridge.
The Boathouse is made up of a large, open plan living space with a seating nook which you can draw the curtains around to make it feel more snug.
The woodburner provides extra warmth and cosiness, should you be staying in the colder months.
There is a small galley kitchen with a Belfast sink, electric hot plate, microwave combi oven and fridge with ice compartment.
No uber modern fitted kitchens here, but it’s quirky and perfectly serviceable.
You also have a shower room with shower, loo and wash hand basin and electric heater.
For the occasional extra guest there is a futon and a sprung sofa bed that can be curtained off to give them privacy.
Up the open-tread stairs you’ll find another little seating area, along with the double bed, which can be curtained off and another area, which can also be curtained off with a singled bed with trundle underneath.
If you want to stay in a holiday cottage on Anglesey with a difference, then Boathouse Cadnant Gate might just be for you!
Situated close to Menai Bridge, you’ll be able to walk to pubs, cafes, restaurants, independent shops and activities such as Rib Ride.
If you fancy a longer walk, why not stroll into Beaumaris, or head out in the car and explore further afield on Anglesey or Snowdonia?
This is a well-positioned holiday cottage for explorers and those who like a more unusual base!
