The property

Garden Cottage - Ty’r Ardd, is a blue-fronted and cheerful holiday cottage set in the heart of the coastal town of Menai Bridge on Anglesey.

Welcoming inside with a picturesque terraced garden outside, you’re sure to find this a relaxing home-from-home.

In the sitting room you can sink into squishy sofas and watch the TV with Freeview and DVD player.

There is also a wooden dining table and chairs for meals.

French doors in this room offer views of the pretty garden which is lit up in the evening.

The kitchen has all you need - electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave and all the tools you need for cooking up a meal. The three bedrooms are all upstairs: there are two with double beds, one of which has views out of the front and soaks up the evening sunshine.

The other double room looks out across the garden and benefits from the morning sun.

There is also a single bedded room. The family bathroom has a bath with power shower over, wash basin and loo. The garden is quirky with a decked area halfway up - you can sit here and enjoy a relaxing drink whilst soaking up the sunshine and taking in the bursts of colour from the plants and shrubs surrounding you.

On a warm summer evenings you could always throw open the French doors and enjoy an informal al fresco supper in the private patio area. The cottage has ample parking located close by - within 30 yards, in fact.

The wide pavement outside enables easy unloading at the doorstep, too. From this fabulous family holiday cottage you are close to the A55, meaning it’s ideal for those visiting North Wales from the North West of England, or even Ireland!

There are the stunning sandy beaches of Anglesey’s coastline, or the majestic mountains of Snowdonia within driving distance.

A short walk from the front door will take you to lovely little shops, a gallery, local pubs, cafes, a deli and good restaurants.

You can also easy stroll along the glorious Menai Strait, too! Some of Anglesey and Snowdonia’s finest attractions are close by, including Plas Cadnant Hidden Head further east to bustling Beaumaris with its castle, shops and places to eat and drink.

You’ll be spoilt for choice of things to see, do and experience for Garden Cottage - Ty’r Ardd.

Llanfairpwllgwyngyll 2 miles; Bangor 2.5 miles; Beaumaris 4.5 miles; Caernarfon 8 miles

This delightful town sits right on the edge of the Isle of Anglesey and is home to one of two bridges to mainland Wales. It is an ideal base for a holiday and is great for exploring this beautiful island. It has a strong history which can be discovered in the Menai Bridge Heritage Museum, the well known Saint Tysilio lived on Church Island, just off of Anglesey in the 9th century, hence the name of the 14th century St. Tysilio's Church. Menai Bridge itself offers a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy. In terms of entertainment, this is an ideal spot with something for everybody, there is the butterfly palace 'Pili Palas' which is incredibly popular with families, as well as the astounding Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens well worth a walk around. The Snowdonia National Park is within driving distance for you outdoor enthusiasts, it has wonderful walking, cycling and opportunities to see some beautiful sights. Nearer to the town, there are some incredible places including the popular towns of Beaumaris and Caernarfon with their majestic castles and much more to do.
