  • "We fell in love with Y Bwthyn as soon as we arrived there, our one year old loved looking for the rabbits in the garden every morning."

The garden is so big and spacious we loved making the most of the nice weather outside and having picnics. The location is great, it’s so quiet in the house/ garden you’d never think you were right in the middle of Menai bridge and the local shop a stone throw away. The house was better than we imagined and so spacious with great facilities including a high chair for our son. Our hosts were amazing and always responded quickly. We loved it here and will definitely make it our first choice when we stay in the UK again.

  • "The house is in a beautiful setting, with easy access to the town."

The accommodation was really well presented and very comfortable for a 2 week holiday. The owners were very friendly and helpful with any queries we had. I would definitely recommend this property and would go back myself. It is even nicer than the picture!

  • "Sykes Cottages were very helpful during the booking process."

The cottage was in a brilliant location to explore Anglesey being only 10 minutes walk to the shops in Menai Bridge but in a lovely secluded location.

The listing doesn't do it justice. Everything perfect, clean and furnished to a high standard. Great communication. Thanks so much, we would definitely recommend!

  • "The windows had just been painted."

We only managed to open half of them, the others were stuck together including the bathroom one. No kitchen roll or dish cloth. Poor connection on TV aerial point causing error message on screen. Lovely, peaceful location & outdoor space.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear you had some issues during your stay. We do provide our contact number for you to call us if you have any problems as we don't live too far and could have helped if we had known. We will get a joiner to look at the windows as they are original sash windows and the house is 170 years old so we appreciate your comments. We do not provide dish cloths or kitchen roll as the property is self catering and most people prefer to bring their own dish cloths, especially since the pandemic started. We have not noticed any issues with the TV or had any reported since your stay but will keep an eye on this. We do hope you enjoyed your stay otherwise. Property Owner
