    “Menai cottage was lovely.”

It met my expectations and more. Very peaceful and lovely views of the straits. Looking across to Caernarfon Castle lit up at night was fab.

The cottage

This holiday cottage, situated on the southern coast of Anglesey, enjoys fantastic views across the Menai Strait and over to Snowdonia. The well-equipped kitchen has a built-in fridge/freezer, microwave, electric hob and oven. The sitting room is furnished with comfortable sofas.

In addition to central heating, an electric flame-effect fire makes the house very cosy in the colder months.

The lovely views can be appreciated from the French doors of the sitting room, which lead into the garden. There is a large double bedroom with king-size bed, a TV and an en-suite shower room with loo and wash basin.

There are two other twin bedrooms. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over and shower screen, loo and wash basin.

There is also a cloakroom with loo and wash basin. There are no stairs in this house, with all the rooms on the same floor. The garden has lawns and a paved area with garden seating. From the bungalow, you can stroll along to the edge of the Menai Strait, which is just a stone's throw away.

You can carry on to visit two of Anglesey's popular attractions: Anglesey Sea Zoo, which also has a good restaurant and shop, and Foel Farm Park and Chocolate Factory, which has a pleasant bistro restaurant.

Golf and horse riding are available locally. Please note reductions are available for 4 occupants or fewer outside high season - please call for details.
