  • "A brilliant bolthole on Anglesey perfect for coastal walks and exploring the island."

Super-comfy beds, a lovely sunny garden, and enough space for our family of two adults, two teens plus our dog to chill out. The owners have thought about what you need to properly self-cater, with a well-stocked kitchen, washing machine and huge gas range cooker. We took advantage of some of the games in the living room one wet afternoon, but otherwise had wall-to-wall sunshine. We did need to report a minor issue with the guttering to the holiday company and they turned up to check it out the following day - great service. Moelfre is lovely; a quintessential fishing village with amazing ice cream, a pub, cafe and lovely little trinket shop. You can be on the coastal path in just a few minutes from the cottage’s front door. Head out to Lligwy beach for golden sands as far as the eye can see (c20 mins walk), or challenge yourself to walk to Benllech (about 2 hours and some tough terrain).

Thank you so much for your lovely positive feedback and its nice to hear that you had a lovely holiday and the weather was kind to you. We are sorry you had issues with the guttering but nice to know Menai Holiday Company came to deal with the problem for you . We hope you come and stay again in the near future. Thanks again. • "The cottage was lovely, very spacious, very clean considering it allows dogs, perfect location, beds very comfortable."

I will definitely stay here again, the only negative I would say is he check in time at 5pm is too late when your are travelling with two young children it would be better if the check in time was earlier so you can drop all the luggage off first and head out for the day, also the check out time of 9.30am seems extremely early especially when travelling with young children you lose a day when the check-in time is so late and have to be out so early so that could do with looking into to make it more convenient for young families.

Hello and thanks for your feedback. I am glad you enjoyed your stay at Bryn Peris. The check in and out times were changed due to covid to allow cleaners more time and are are generally set by Sykes/Menai. I fully appreciate you comments and I have spoken to Menai who contacted the cleaner. Moving forward check in is 4pm and check out is 10am. I hope you feel this is more convenient and thanks again for your feedback. Property Owner

  • "Oven and Grill wasn't clean and the oven trays were in a poor conditon."

Cutlery draw was a bit gruby. Advertised as pet friendly but pets not allowed on furniture or upstairs which would be a big issue for some. On the plus side the cottage was comfortable, nicely furnished. The beds were very comfortable. Garden seating was nice to use on sunny days. Off road parking was good. The cottage was only a few minutes walk from the beach and coastal walk, arrival and leaving times meant we in effect lost a day, Asking people to leave at 9.30am is pushing it especially as you ask folk to clear the bedding and towels and clean the house. Arriving at 5pm means you loose most of the day.

Thank you for your feedback it is greatly appreciated. We appologise regarding the trays and will replace them on our next visit in June. We have addressed the issue with the cutlery draw with the cleaners and asked them to overview the drawers etc and make sure they are clean for the next client. The arrival times have been changed as a client previously mentioned this so arrival is now 4pm and the leaving time is 10am as stated on the website. Thank you again and we hope to see you soon. • "Property was spotless and smelt lovely."

But it was cold and we had an awful draught that came through the conservatory, maybe a door should be put there. Cottage in a fantastic position we would stay again and recommend

Thank you for your feedback and we are in the process of trying to address the situation with regards to the conservatory. Due to the age of the cottage it does not hold the heat so I agree it needs something especially during the colder months or evenings. We have since put a screen in the lounge which can be used by guests to partition the conservatory at night but we will be looking for a more permanent solution at the end of the holiday season Property Owner

  • "We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Moelfre and this lovely cottage."

Everything in the cottage is top quality, soft furnishings and a comfy sofa make it very comfortable. We didn't venture far at all, spending our days on the beach. Thank you Websters, you have an amazing cottage in a beautiful setting

  • "Just spent a perfect week in this lovely cottage, so relaxing."

A chocolate box cottage, made us smile as we pulled around the corner. Everything we could want for a comfortable stay. The charm still remains in each room. The weather was stunning, very warm and spent most of the time in Moelfre on the beach. Lovely to see everyone enjoying the water. We took our kayaks on then sat on teh beach with a cold beer from teh local pub and a disposable BBQ, absolute bliss. Thank you, we will be back.

  • "We had the most enjoyable stay as a family."

It was our first trip to Anglesey and the cottage and village were an absolute delight. The cottage had such a homely, personal feel we felt immediately at home. It was so quiet and peaceful and was the ideal relaxing break away. We would definitely consider going back and staying in the cottage again and would not hesitate in recommending a stay there to anyone. Stunning views and the people were so friendly.

  • "Wow! What a lovely place - both the cottage and Moelfre."

The Cottage is like a home from home, it's so nice to finally come to somewhere where the owners clearly care about attention to detail that gives your OK that little bit extra. We actually LOVED the big sofa in the conservatory - a lovely place to relax after a long coastal walk. Just cannot fault the place, thank you Websters! P.S. loved the garden too, spent hours chilling in the sun

  • "The cottage is lovely, made even better by wall to wall sunshine every day."

Family back home having day after day of bad weather, rain, hailstones and freezing temperatures. We like the large settee in the conservatory with sun streaming in and so comfortable. Moelfre is our favourite place and this place of comfort has made us sad to be going home. Hopefully we will meet again

  • "Not sure whether your site information lists that the oven is gas, not a game changer but was a challenge for me."

although i did learn a new skill, normally we would not eat in but due to current circumstances this was unavoidable. cottage had everything we needed, and village location lovely. Bedrooms on small side but then only needed for sleeping, Used as a base to walk the coastal path, managed to get half way round, tried to use buses where possible. enjoyed our stay

  • "Bryn Peris is a lovely cottage with low ceilings ( careful if you are over 6ft)."

Well furnished to a high quality and a well furnished kitchen. All that was missing was a tea pot ( thought that an essential !). Enjoyed the wood burning stove too. Good off road parking for 2 cars and a very easy walk to the centre of Moelfre and the beaches. Good village with a small shop, local pub (Kimnel Arms) and cafe/ restaurant ( Anne’s Pantry). Only issue was the back door which had swollen and couldn’t be opened which meant to get to the garden and cars you had to squeeze through the conservatory which was rather overfilled with a very very large sofa.

  • "What a beautiful cottage, in a very pretty village, well presented to a very high standard."

Ideally situated in a quiet spot just a stones throw from the village centre, costal walks from the doorstep. Lovely garden.Nice conservatory but spoiled by a huge sofa taking up all the room. Good parking but needs care coming out of enclosed drive as backs on to a minor road right on the bend, but road not too busy. Also no gate on front garden so bear in mind if you have a dog or children as this also leads out to the road. Nice pub in village, local shop has all basics with good local produce but go early for the lovely fresh bread. Plenty of places to eat in surrounding towns and most are dog friendly. I’d definitely recommend saying here.

  • "We spent a week at Bryn Peris with our 2 teenage children, grandparents and cockapoo in August 2020."

The cottage is one of the prettiest in Moelfre and is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and furnished to create a cosy and welcoming home away from home. The cottage is surprisingly spacious downstairs with a good sized family dining space and comfy sofa in the conservatory to relax into. We found the kitchen was very well equipped to cook family meals. The garden was a good size and fully enclosed so great for dogs, bbq's and eating outdoors if the weather allows! It was only a short walk to the pubs, cafe's and pretty pebble beach in the centre of Moelfre. You can access the coastal path nearby the cottage and there's a lovely walk to the beautiful, sandy Lligwy beach and cafe for a fab day out! It was a perfect location to explore Anglesey from, we had days out to Newborough, Church Bay, Trearrdur and Rhosneigr which were all around 30 minutes drive away. We highly recommend the cottage for a restful, homely stay on Anglesey.

  • "Quaint chocolate box cottage."

Our first impression was amazing as we pulled up to the cottage and Inside it did not disappoint. Nicely decorated with great attention to detail. Loved the fact it was sympathetic to a cottage designed/style and not sparse and uncomfortable. The cottage was well equipped with everything we could want and more. Loved sitting in the conservatory watching the children play in the ample garden. The location is fantastic for everything you could want from a welsh holiday. Coastal walks all straight from the cottage door were breath taking. The children and dog had a ball. Looking forward to many more visits! Stu and Suz

  • "We enjoyed a glorious week at this cottage."

It is ideally situated for coastal walks in either direction, Ann’s pantry looking over the sea, the local pub, village shop and fish and chip shop. Lligwy beach is only a half an hour walk away along the coastal path and well worth the visit. The cottage is well equipped for ease and comfort. Plenty of space to the rear with an enclosed gated garden which has room for a car. We will definitely return !
