Fantastic views across the beaches from sun room. Very quiet and private. Brochure pictures do not do it justice.

  • "The second bathroom was disappointing, particularly the state of the shower cubicle."

It was at the other end of the cottage to the bedrooms so my 80 year old parents had to traipse through the living areas when they used the shower in their towels. The main bathroom shower was very temperamental and we contacted the owners who did send out a plumber the same day but we still had issues with it and it meant all 6 of using the older bathroom as I have mentioned. But apart from this the cottage was lovely.

  • "Gwel Y Mor is a delightful property in an ideal location."

Comfortable and extremely well equipped, situated overlooking the bay, with views that are truly amazing. We were lucky with the weather and were delighted to use the spacious patio and to take advantage of the walk across the garden and grounds to the 'little gate' to give access to the coastal path - lovely walk to the village and the pub. For dog owners it is a delight as there are so many quite walks to enjoy - our dog just walked, ate and relaxed for the whole week. Hope to return next year.

We very much hope the quality of the accommodation provided by Menai continues as the homes we have stayed in previously have been of a high standard.

  • "Smelt musty upon arrival."

Fantastic views , tremendous sun room but in need of TLC. As long as we opened doors and windows the smell went but then returned.

  • "The cottage is spacious and airy."

Its position is excellent as you can use the Coastal Path with ease or walk into the attractive village of Moelfre. The cottage is well appointed and very comfortable. The living area is basically open plan but you can isolate the bedrooms by closing a door. The view is superb and very peaceful and relaxing. Even in poor weather there is every comfort. If you are interested in birds and wildlife , you will not be disappointed . Just be aware that there is no welcome pack at this cottage so take milk and the basics.

  • "Lots of space and clean, except the microwave was faulty, and had to be replaced, which was done within hours; great response."

The main disappointment was the shower room, which was really a utility room, and although it had a toilet and basin, there was no mirror near the basin for shaving, and was a bit shabby compared to the rest of the bungalow. On our last day there was a load of little flies that came into the main bathroom, possibly from the attic via the ceiling lights. However, beautiful views and a warm, spacious and comfortable holiday house.
