  • "Lovely and clean."

Everything you needed in the accommodation, well presented wit a great view from the terrace .A bit quieter than the other locations which suited us, but easy to get to other places either walking, bus or car.

  • "Lovely apartment, very clean."

Fantastic views. Was a bit concerned that being over a shop it may be a bit noisy but no real problems with that. The only warning I would have is that tall people may struggle with the sloping ceiling in the shower! Not made for 6 footers! We would definitely recommend and book again.

It is extremely well looked after, very clean and furnished to a high standard. It felt extremely homely and the view from the lounge and the Veranda are wonderful. Dawn was a fabulous host. Bara brith, butter, milk, tea and coffee waiting on our arrival - a lovely touch. We will definitely return

  • "It was wonderful to be back in Anglesey after so many months of not being allowed to visit Wales."

For us, a short break booked at the last minute, we couldn't have chosen a better place! Lovely smart, clean apartment in beautiful Moelfre. But what makes this place stand out is the incredible view from the balcony..mesmerising. The weather was spectacular, and we left Hyfrydle after 4 days of stunning coastal walks, (from the doorstep) and complete rest and relaxation. The hosts are super friendly and helpful too. A fantastic find for us, we absolutely loved it. We would move in tomorrow!! As this isn't possible however, we are just about to book our next visit!

  • "Lovely flat above the shop which has a good selection of food etc available at reasonable prices, gorgeous local produce available especially the sausages."

The beds were comfortable with decent mattresses, even the twins which you don’t always get. Very clean and comfortable, everything working, also the flat has a beautiful view from lounge area and outside area. Would be great to have a proper dining set outside on the balcony so you could eat outside and enjoy the view which is amazing. The flat is spacious, comfortable, clean and in a great location. A couple of minutes to the chippy one way (great food), a couple of minutes walk to the pub, cafe, beach, ice creams etc the other. A good selection of kitchen items, managed to cook a Sunday roast no problem. Loved this place. Did not want to leave! Thanks we will hopefully see you again x

The view from the balcony was to die for the chippy did gluten free and the welsh cakes the nicest I’ve tried. We will be back if at all possible in our busy schedule looking after the grandchildren and aged parent.

  • "We originally found the property difficult to find and had to ring the owner."

We discovered that the directions you have on your site were incorrect, you said property is on the left but it was on the right. The owner will be contacting you. The apartment is lovely. Large lounge/kitchen/diner, two lovely sized bedrooms, large bathroom and a huge balcony with superb views over the bay. We sat and watched water skiing, wind surfing, dinghy sailing and sea canoeing. There are lovely cliff top walks on both sides of the property. The apartment is above the shop which sells most things you can need. Fresh bread is delivered daily along with dairy items (their baps are really lovely). The owners are really friendly and helpful. The village is close to Benlech which is a larger village and has everything like banks, take away, restaurants etc. There is a good bus service from Moelfre. A lovely pub with sea views and many other small independent businesses. Even though the weather was changeable we just didn't care we could relax or wrap up and go out whatever we wanted to do. We always cook for ourselves and the kitchen was well equipped (we take our own knives and large pans). We had a very good time and will definitely be back as this apartment and the area are a wonderful find.

The views from the apartment were fantastic. Our hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming. Would love to go back very soon. Our only minor niggle was tthat the bathroom really needs a towel rail. Other than that it was perfect.

  • "Your description of this apartment does not give the full picture."

No mention is made of the almost continuous and very audible hum during the night of the 5 or 6 refrigeration units sited in the shop below. The other source of night time disturbance is the coastguard station next door. Obviously the coastguard must operate at any hour, and this is accepted, but, you really have a duty to let paying customers know about these considerations. Incidentally, the shop effectively opens at 6:30am and closes at 18:30. Early if you wanted a lie in. NB We even considered going home early to get a good nights sleep.

The flat exceeded our expectations nicely decorated clean and cosy with an amazing view from the balcony. We were able to watch the sunrise and sunset without moving away from the balcony and the coastal path is within a few minutes away. Although the flat had everything we needed including a welcome pack it was very useful having the shop below. Will definitely go back again in the future. Keith & Mandy
