    Our children loved all the quirky furniture pieces and ornaments. The kitchen was really well equipped. The bedrooms and lounge was very comfortable. The views from the master bedroom were lovely. We would definitely return. Please could you make a partial refund for the new level of VAT that was relevant at the time of our stay

  • "Sykes were brilliant, we were at the airport about to board a plane to The Canaries when Spain cancelled all incoming flights."

    We had a week off and nowhere to go got home and found this great cottage. I phoned Mark at Sykes to see if it was available that day for a week, he made the nessecary phone calls and we were there that afternoon.

  • "The 1940s styling, which will appeal to many people, reminded me too much of those times when life was hard and there was very little comfort."

    It's a question of personal taste. Some friends visiting said the styling was fantastic. The cottage was clean, tidy and very basic and the location is great. Moelfre is one of my favourite spots on the island and the cottage is 5 minutes from the Kinmel Arms.

  • "The cottage was in a great location and we enjoyed having easy access to the coastal path, pub and shops."

    The cottage had some very interesting and fun decorations and had been designed with a careful eye for detail. The owners had very kindly left us a bottle of wine, which we enjoyed. There were some very welcome necessities left, such as loo roll, oil and salt/pepper. The local beaches and places of interest are within easy reach. The Kimnel Arms served tasty pub food and the local shop on the hill was well stocked. Thank you - we had a good break between Christmas and New Year.

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our few days in this lovely cottage in Moelfre."

    It was a beautiful, well equipped and spotlessly clean cottage with everything you could need. It was so lovely to be near the sea and the pub and to walk along the coastal path. The only trouble we had was locking and unlocking the front door. Something was wrong with this so we used the back door to come and go. Would definitely book this cottage again.

  • "Ty Cefn is a lovely cottage."

    It's quaint and deceptively roomy and the area at the back is lovely and private to sit outside and have meals. There is a little beach close by within walking distance right by a welcoming pub. The cottage is in a great area to discover the northern coastline and there are lovely big beaches and walks nearby. We really enjoyed staying there and will be back in the near future

Lligwy 2 miles; Benllech 2.5 miles.

Situated on the beautiful east coast of Anglesey, Moelfre is a delightful seaside village, boasting little cottages, a picturesque port, a beach, fine views of Snowdonia, a working lifeboat, and two quality pubs/restaurants. Visit the hugely popular local Seawatch Centre, enjoy fishing or watching sea birds, seals and even dolphins, or discover wonderful cliff-top walks with stunning mountain views. The village has many historic links, the most recent being the site of the tragic Royal Charter shipwreck in 1859. There are stunning sandy beaches nearby, at Benllech and Lligwy, and the lovely Red Wharf Bay, with its miles of open sands and birdlife.
