  • "Really nice place."

Owner very friendly. We would definitely come back

  • "The property is spacious and well equipped."

the welcome pack and Christmas decorations were a pleasant surprise on arrival. Whilst the property is pretty remote the postcode in the SatNav takes you right to the doorstep. Do not be put off by the track to the house. The weather whilst we were there was not good but the house was warm and inviting. The hot tub was huge and there is a swimming poo for those brave enough to use it. The owner who live within the grounds were very friendly and available if needed. There were a couple of downsides which we mentioned to the owners and they are looking to resolve. These were a lack of somewhere to hang coats and with the weather being wet the garden which you crossed for access was a bit boggy and could do with a path to stop mud being dragged into the house. All in all we had a great time and would recommend the property to anyone.

  • "We had an amazing stay at Plas Eithin."

The house was lovely & clean and the beds were so comfy & it had everything we needed for a family of 5. There were 3 really good sized bedrooms & 1 smaller room but it still had a double bed. 3 amazing bathrooms & 2 kitchens as well as a pool & hot tub. Will & Nettie were so helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. The only thing to note is that it is generally a car ride to most places, however, this was never an issue as the house & location offers more than enough in itself. It was fabulous & so tranquil to sit out in the beautiful garden. We will definitely be returning and definitely recommend 5*

  • "We loved our time at Plas Eithin."

It was spacious but still very cozy. The beds were really comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub - and appreciated it being under cover as the weather was mixed. There was everything we needed here. The owners Wil and Netti were very warm, welcoming and helpful. Once you are on Anglesey, I would advise following the directions on the key collection information rather than the sat nav as it's much easier.

  • "- A fabulous location - Perfect home stay - Huge hot tub in a proper indoor facility, never found another one like this - Swimming pool - play ground - nicely maintained - Very friendly Host and a lovely person to talk to."

We couldn't possibly have asked for anything else. Thank you Sykes for providing us with this beautiful place!!! Looking forward to make a return trip! Just 1 point of concern may be ( nothing related to our stay) The 50 yard approach road to the place can be a little too bumpy. It needs patching up.

  • "Great property with great owner."

Will as a host have done everything for us that we'd hope and more. Very friendly and very good standard of very spacious accomodation. Beds/mattreses very comfy. Location is beautiful, quiet, secluded with lots of option for biking and walks. Clean jacuzzi and outdoor swimming pool if one fancy a cold dip. I'd definetely come back and so would any of our 8 family members. Two things to notice: 1) Low celilings/door lintels, 2)Property could do with a dishwasher.

  • "The main problem was the holes in the long driveway, this would cause problems with sports car’s, and no dishwasher."

Otherwise we all had a lovely comfortable holiday, with a hot tub under cover, and a swimming pool. The accommodation was really cosy with plenty of seating and relaxing rooms. The hosts were really nice and available if you needed anything. We would all consider going back again.

  • "Plas Eithin is a lovely place to spend time on the lovely island of Anglesey!"

The place is spacious, well equipped and immaculately clean. The owners Will and Annette make you feel very welcome and will do everything to make your stay a pleasure. They are both extremely approachable and you feel like you have made friends from the outset of your holiday. The house is very secluded and peaceful. We found places nearby for lovely walks we have never visited before and found some where different everyday to visit. There is every supermarket you could wish for in Holyhead were we also found some lovely coastal and forest walks as well. Would we go back yes definitely!

The cleanliness could not be faulted and the beds were very comfy. The property is very spacious with a large garden with quality outdoor furniture. It is well located in the peace and quiet of the countryside but not too far from Church Bay which is a beautiful place to visit. We can also recommend Y Ring for food which is near by. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this holiday property and hopefully we will be back again! Also the owners are so lovely and made us feel very welcome ...thank you for the fresh eggs!

About the location

LLANFECHELL

Cemaes Bay 1.5 miles; Holyhead 15 miles.

Llanfechell is a small village situated one and a half miles from Cemaes Bay, on the northern tip of Anglesey in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village gets its name from the nearby 12th century Mechell Church, which has been extended over the years and where it is believed that St Mechell is buried. The ancient Parys mountain copper mines are seven miles away, with their lunar-like landscape and the area is popular with geologists and archaeologists due to the rock formations at Mechell Mountain and the several ancient monuments scattered around, reputed to be some of the oldest in the world. Llanfechell is home to a village pub, which serves traditional ale with a warm welcome. Nearby, the pretty seaside village of Cemaes Bay is home to three pubs, a few shops, a natural sheltered harbour and a sandy beach, edged by grassy cliffs and ideal for safe bathing and family fun. The whole of the Isle of Anglesey is renowned for its miles of stunning and varied coastline, offering wonderful walking and cycling opportunities, along with birdwatching, excellent watersports, fishing and many quality golf courses. Anglesey Sea Zoo and a variety of National Trust properties and gardens are all within reach on this beautiful island, while a day trip to Dublin can be enjoyed from nearby Holyhead.
