  • "Fantastic holiday."

Everything you could need was in the house and it was very clean. Host very friendly and accommodating. Great base to explore Anglesey and all it has to offer. Weather was lovely. Thank you for a great holiday

  • "We thought that 18."

00 hours was too late for arrival time, and also 9.00 too early for a family of 8 with 3 children. Also we found the lounge too cold in the evening but were unable to increase the temperature, thereby forcing us to light the log burner, which is not an environmentally friendly heating system.

  • "Really lovely cottage and will be booking again."

House was quite damp but improved when the heating kicked in. Perfect location and fantastically equipped.

Had everything we needed for a family of 5 plus grandparents. Very helpful owner. Great location for exploring newborough forest and surrounding areas. Will definitely be back

  • "This is an exceptionally well equipped home from home."

Everything was immaculate with a lovely welcome basket waiting for us. The garden is very nice with lovely views and plenty of garden furniture. Well located although the road in front is quite busy this was a good base to explore Anglesey and my favourite beach at Newborough Warren. There are nice walks from the door and a short drive to a decent pub for a meal. I heartily recommend this property. We were a family group, all adults and it suited us fine but would be fantastic for children too.

  • "The cottage was the best we have stayed in regarding facilities and comfort."

A few very minor issues which are best discussed with the owner. Newborough is a small village and only one pub / restaurant which was unappealing and we did not eat there, this often meant a round trip of 20 miles + to find a decent pub. Anglesey is a lovely place with good beaches and coastline, I am not sure why the Tourist Board and local authoriites, who depend on tourists, consider it appropriate to charge 20p to use a public toilet with or without hand drying facilities. This is a big turn off in terms of a potential re-visit.
