  • "Understand the let is due for renovations over the winter."

    Interesting to see what property will be reborn as. Could do with a superior barbecue. As with most larger lets the bedrooms are orientated toward one master and several lesser. Could be much better with 2 or 3 "masters" of equal facilities.

  • "I have reported the issues and i have ref COR-222818-CF , i received a call from Georgia from Sykes on weds and relayed what happened and that i had contacted the owner, Georgia asked me to send photos of the cleanliness of the house which i did and i also fowarded the mail i sent to the owner stating what we had been through."

    Georgia told me when she received the photos she would contact the owner and phone me back within the hour and we are still waiting for that callback? not impressed at all with your customer relations. So i would appreciate an update or a call from someone at sykes on the appalling state of our holiday let when we arrived last friday which was booked for my family to celebrate my wifes 60th birthday, it was so bad my son and his fiance left for home on monday which totally ruined our family break. I have emailed customerrelations at sykes and have received the reply that your very busy and will be in touch when you can?? its now a week since i first reported our issuse and apart from a call and a promise to callback we have heard nothing SHOCKING really a very dissatisfied customer

    Views were fabulous. Indoor and outdoor space good and relevant for the number of guests. Kitchen facilities made it easy to prepare food/meals at home. Accessible for on line shopping which meant a very relaxed start to our holiday. We like it so much we have already booked it again for 2022!

  • "It needed a good clean and there was some bondage cuffs behind the chair in the reading area upstairs and a coat in the wardrobe of the master bedroom."

    Luckily my grandson is only a baby and didn’t find the cuffs. It wasn’t a pleasant find!!!!!

  • "The cottage has a lot of potential to be a lovely holiday home, unfortunately the cleanliness of the cottage was not great."

    In the master bedroom a dirty sock was in the made bed upon arrival leading us to believe the bedding could not have been changed prior to our visit. Many of the blinds were broken and unable to close properly and lots of the light bulbs were either not working or flickering on and off. Some of the cutlery was also dirty prior to our use also. Within minutes of taking off our shoes, our socks were black on the bottom suggesting the floor is not very clean. The cottage itself is a lovely building and with a good clean it would be a perfect get away, unfortunately we were less than impressed with this aspect. The cottage advertises that dogs are welcome however when we arrived the back garden was not fenced off and there was access to a main road which meant we could not spend time in the garden and I feel that if we were to have had a dog it would not have been safe at all.

    Thank you for staying at Groeslon. We have taken all of our feed back on board and have closed off the property for 2 months to refurbish the property. We have also changed our property management which we hope will now keep the property to a high standard all year long as expected.     Place was great but noticed hot tub is not available next year and reason we would not book this property again is because there was no gates on property entrance and there was no way to close part of the garden off so dogs could not be left on there own in garden as main road is only 100 yards away a set of gates or part of garden enclosed we would then book property again views are fantastic property over property was excellent

The scattered rural village of Penmynydd stands amidst lovely countryside only four miles from the stunning coastline of the beautiful Isle of Anglesey. The ancient village gave rise to the Tudor family, the forefathers of Henry VIII and Elizabeth I, and today boasts the St Gredifael Church built in the 14th century and home of the Tudor Tomb. Nearby Benllech has a beautiful long beach, much favoured by families, with a slipway allowing easy access for all. A variety of shops and cafes front the beach, with a picnic area to the side, whilst the town centre offers more shops, pubs, hotels and restaurants. Only 4 miles away is Red Wharf Bay providing stunning scenery, miles of golden sands and a good choice of restaurants. The charming town of Beaumaris, the Sea Zoo, Pili Butterfly Palace and Plas Newydd are all on the island, while on the mainland, Penrhyn Castle, Bodnant Gardens and the stunning scenery of Snowdonia are easily reached.
