Trearddur Bay 2 miles.
This detached cottage is situated on a remote headland, two miles from the ever-popular Trearddur Bay.
The cottage is down a quiet track and is 10 minutes’ walk from secluded sandy beaches, making it an ideal base for families and friends to enjoy a relaxing holiday.
This delightful cottage has been decorated and furnished to a high standard, and offers two living areas, both with a cosy woodburner.
One is in the bright summer room with bi-fold doors opening on to a terrace with panoramic sea views and a stone-built fire pit.
The other woodburner is in the main sitting room, with a more formal dining area together with a leather topped writing desk, which makes a welcome area to relax long into the evening.
There are four well-appointed bedrooms with a variety of bed layouts, making the living accommodation very flexible which will suit families and friends, particularly as three of the bedrooms boast en-suite bathroom facilities.
The gardens are lawned and spacious and there is patio seating to ensure you make the most of the superb, peaceful outdoor location and can enjoy the fresh sea air and distant sea views.
There is also a sheltered, enclosed, courtyard which is a fantastic suntrap all day long, and then in the evenings, you can light the fire pit whilst dining alfresco.
Doorstep paths lead onto the Anglesey Coastal Path and along to the Blue Flag National Trust beach at nearby Porth Dafarch, which is renowned for its coasteering activities, and where you can see guided groups jumping and scrabbling along rock faces perilously close to the sea.
This lovely cottage is in the South Stack Cliffs Nature Reserve and RSPB sanctuary and is a birdwatcher’s paradise, with a wide variety of birds and sea life to see all year round.
There are many attractions within driving distance of this comfortable cottage, including the South Stack Lighthouse itself, and a wide variety of water sports in Trearddur Bay.
Further afield, perhaps a fishing boat excursion or even a day trip on the Holyhead Fastcat to Dublin will appeal to you, although with so much on the doorstep, you may just want to park the car for the week and explore around the cliff tops on foot.
Whatever you choose to do, there is something for everyone at this lovely cottage.
