This chalets finest asset can be found externally, with a splendid decked seating area that overlooks the river, it provides an ideal area to sit and relax after an adventurous day out, listen to the rustling of the trees, which offer some shade and the soothing sound of the river, a perfect way to end the day.

The Glan Gwna lake offers some great trout fishing, if you have a rod license and the holiday park also offers a shop, a children's play area and a laundrette for your convenience.

The royal, coastal town of Caernarfon is just two miles away and offers a good selection of shops, its impressive 13th century castle, well-preserved town walls and attractive waterfront as well as the Welsh Highland Railway, where you can travel through some of the most splendid Welsh countryside to Beddgelert and the harbour town of Porthmadog.

From here you can also visit the unspoilt Snowdonia National Park, the Llyn Peninsula and the Isle of Anglesey, all offering unforgettable experiences.

Caeathro is a small village with a shop and pub, situated on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, 2 miles from Caernarfon. The town is a popular tourist spot, with its impressive 13th Century castle, well-preserved town walls and attractive waterfront. During the season there are guided tours of the castle and special events including historic pageants. There is also a station for the Welsh Highland Railway, which passes through dramatic scenery. Caernarfon offers a selection of shops, places to eat and sea-fishing trips off the coast of Anglesey. The perfect location for touring Snowdonia and the lovely beaches of Anglesey and the Lleyn Peninsula, as well as for enjoying excellent climbing, walking, mountain biking, watersports and golf.
