  • "Wonderful place to stay whether you want to laze about or go walking and climbing."

The facilities were excellent, above and beyond, we had a coffee machine, even a roll of cooking foil, books, DVDs, we had a christmas tree with lights and decorations, I could go on. We will be booking up for a stay this year, in the summer.

It was a pleasure to have you stay with us over Christmas and hope to see you in 2024 :-) Property Owner

Felin Uchaf Holiday Cottages

Three superb barn conversions including a ground floor cottage studio, located within a small courtyard position, close to the owners’ home, in the small picturesque hamlet of Pentir, four miles from both Llanberis and Bangor. Ideally situated for exploring Snowdonia, the Llyn Peninsula, Anglesey and the North Wales coast, these lovely cottages have been sympathetically created by the careful conversion of barns, dating back to the 18th century, and have been individually designed, both with their own distinctive styling. These delightful cottages are well appointed to a very good standard throughout and are both furnished with modern living in mind. Great care has been taken to ensure there is everything you could need to make sure you have a comfortable stay and a wonderful holiday. There is courtyard parking for each cottage and both enjoy a front courtyard area with furniture, plus there’s a larger shared garden with furniture and pond to enjoy. These lovely cottages can be booked individually and would suit couples, family and friends or they could be booked together if you have an extended family for those special occasions when you can all get together and celebrate a special birthday or anniversary. There are numerous short walks from the cottages, and Llanberis and the beautiful Ogwen Valley is only a short drive away. Enjoy a tranquil boat trip or take a ride on the lakeside railway at Llanberis, just 4 miles away at the base of Mount Snowdon where you can also take the steam train to the summit. This is a superb, relaxing base, ideally placed for discovering all of Snowdonia, the Isle of Anglesey, Caernarfon and Conwy Castles, along with miles of wonderful coastline and countryside. This really is a mecca for walkers and mountain bikers with the added bonus of a pub and restaurant within walking distance. This is a quality location for the perfect get away from it all, at any time of year.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £150.
