The property has a real 'wow factor' about it, was very clean, and exactly what we wanted. The only feedback that we have to improve the experience would be: - The check out time of 10am on day of departure is quite early for such a large property. Simple things like washing up after breakfast take time & it felt slightly rushed to get everything done + the property checked before leaving. 11 or 12 check out would make a huge difference for a small amount of time. - There were no tea towels at the property which seemed a little strange when bath towels are provided (unless is was just us that couldnt find them!?) - Some basic instructions for the cooker would have helped as we could only seem to get one oven to work.

The property

Pentraeth 0.6 miles.

An outstanding hall just half a mile from the crossroads at Pentraeth, and only a third of a mile from the beach and coastline on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey.

Formerly an impressive, stately home dating back to 1875, the hall has since been split into 5 homes, Tan Y Graig being the largest and most impressive, with a majority of its original features retained and restored to offer superb Pentraeth holiday home accommodation.

The main entrance hall at this ornate Pentraeth holiday home is perfectly used as a superb banqueting room with open fire, oak wood panelled walls and exposed beams.

The music room, with its barrelled ceiling, has been converted into a fantastic sitting room with warm and welcoming fire, numerous period features and delightful views over the acre of parkland gardens that this Pentraeth holiday home offers.

Six well-appointed bedrooms are spread over the first and second floors of your grand Pentraeth holiday home, two with en-suite facilities and several with sea and garden views, and, for the ultimate in luxury, languish in an antique-look four poster bed.

The butler's pantry has been converted into a children's snug room with many books, games and games consoles they can enjoy if they get tired of playing in the large garden, though the chances are you will want to spend most of your days relaxing and playing by the sea, just a short stroll along the lane.

If this isn't enough then there is a games room converted from part of the detached garage with a pool table, ideal for young and old alike.

A superb Pentraeth holiday home, ideal for large family groups all year long.

About the location

PENTRAETH

Red Wharf Bay 2 miles; Benllech 3 miles; Beaumaris 6 miles.

Pentraeth is a small attractive village on the banks of the River Nodwydd on the north-east coast of Anglesey. It has a village church that dates back to the 12th century and is located between Llanddona beach and Red Wharf Bay, which has over 4.5 miles of sandy beach. Red Wharf Bay’s Welsh name is Traeth Coch (Red Beach) and the area is renowned for its glorious sunsets. The bay is very shallow and provides safe bathing, perfect for wonderful family fun, fishing and miles of stunning scenic walks. The large bay attracts a huge number of waterfowl and wading birds, including shell duck, grey plover, purple sandpipers, curlew, oystercatchers and dunlin. Only 6 miles away is the delightful medieval town of Beaumaris which boasts a 13th century moated castle, excellent shops, pubs, restaurants, bistros and museums, as well as a golf course and exciting pleasure boat and sea fishing trips. This is a great location on the east coast of the picturesque Isle of Anglesey, yet only six minutes from the Britannia Bridge to access the mainland.
