  • "Really enjoyed our stay and would love to return."

Very clean and spacious. Lovely quiet location but only 5 mins from the local pub and shops. It was ideal for our family of 7 adults and 4 children. Lots of space both indoors and out for the children to have fun and the adults to relax and enjoy their stay.

The property is very well equipped and is great to use as a base whilst discovering Anglesey. The whole family enjoyed the facilities especially the table tennis and hot tub. Plenty of room for our family of 10.

  • "Our group of 8 had everything we needed for our stay."

Some of us used the hot tub and played table tennis. The garage was ideal to store our bikes which we used to explore the whole island. The local Panton Arms was a great place to eat too. Just the one problem was with the intermittent Wi-Fi.

  • "We stayed at The Meadows for our New Year break for 4 nights , the whole house was spotless and a good size for us ."

The bedrooms were spacious however the back double bedroom bed and pillows were very uncomfortable . The kitchen could do with better lighting as we found it hard to cook once it had gone dark . The hot tub was lovely , clean and warm but could do with a cover as we could only use once due to it bouncing down with rain. Apart from those few issues we had a lovely stay and would return , thank you .

The only comment we would make is that the hot water was far too hot. potentially dangerous for small children.

  • "The Meadows is a fantastic house in a quiet place."

It swallowed 10 of us with ease. Plenty of space to run around in the garden. The Table Tennis proved very popular with the children. Everything was wonderful we never once wanted anything that we couldn’t find, even compostable bags for food waste. It truly is a wonderful homely place to be. It helped that we were blessed with warm sunny days all week. June 2023.

  • "The Meadows was ideal for the 8 of us, exceptionally well equipped & an ideal location."

There are a couple of minor areas that could be improved upon - the single bed mattresses are not comfortable & 2 settees in the living room are worn & could do with repadding or replacing. Regardless of the slight negative aspects, we had a lovely time & woukd highly recommend the Meadows.

It's in easy reach of some exceptionally beautiful places - beaches, castles, gardens and a wonderful part of the world for birds and wildlife - on a walk through the woods we saw two red squirrels. Wonderful.

  • "We had a great weekend."

Plus points are: Lots of parking Great layout in the house, plenty of space, bathrooms etc. Well equipped kitchen - and utility Was really clean Close to the beach, pub and takeaway It was lovely and warm Things which could be better; The oven wasn’t great and the temperature wasn’t consistent. We had planned to cook a roast on the Sunday but decided not too as we didn’t think the oven was capable of it. The decorators turned up on the Monday after the weekend at 6.10am as the owners assumed we weren’t staying the final night. Hot tub was good, but has some parts which need securing. Our review would have been higher had the decorators not shown up.

Pentraeth is a small attractive village on the banks of the River Nodwydd on the north-east coast of Anglesey. It has a village church that dates back to the 12th century and is located between Llanddona beach and Red Wharf Bay, which has over 4.5 miles of sandy beach.
