  • "We found the cottage warm and very clean, everything we needed was there, a good location for visiting the island and plenty of places to go and eat, we would definitly come back again."

  • "The property in it's self was clean and bright but very small downstairs."

photos on web site were deceiving. Patio could have done with some chicken wire around post and rail fencing as it was impossible to keep our small dogs in. Lovely views of Red Wharf Bay from rear, but frontage was run down and tired. There were disused industrial buildings which were overgrown. We had to cut the brambles down to get our car in the parking space. The roman blind in the main bedroom was broken closed, but we reported it and a someone came out immediately. We love Anglesey but would have been more comfortable in a bigger property.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay here, had everything we wanted, great location, nice garden to enjoy the summer nights, stayed as a family of 4 our kids loved Anglesey and the cottage, would highly recommend it to anyone!"

We will go back to this place again soon! Thanks.

  • "Lovely property - light, bright and tasteful furniture and fittings."

Very clean and we appreciated the milk and Welshcakes awaiting our arrival. The view from the back of the property was spectacular. We enjoyed exploring Anglesey’s beautiful beaches and countryside roads. A very short walk to The Bull, where the welcome and food was good. We received a message just before our arrival to let us know that the bedroom blind was broken and the dishwasher was not working. This was rectified immediately by a helpful and polite maintenance man. He arrived the next morning and fixed the blind and ordered a new dishwasher. This was delivered and installed by Monday (which was a bank holiday) with the minimum disruption of our holiday. We really appreciated this good service.

  • "The house was extremely clean with comfortable beds and pillows."

We used the outside table every day as the view and weather was so good. Our dog did escape next door the fences could be slightly higher with no gaps.

About the location

PENTRAETH

Red Wharf Bay 2 miles; Benllech 3 miles; Beaumaris 6 miles.

Pentraeth is a small attractive village on the banks of the River Nodwydd on the north-east coast of Anglesey. It has a village church that dates back to the 12th century and is located between Llanddona beach and Red Wharf Bay, which has over 4.5 miles of sandy beach. Red Wharf Bay’s Welsh name is Traeth Coch (Red Beach) and the area is renowned for its glorious sunsets. The bay is very shallow and provides safe bathing, perfect for wonderful family fun, fishing and miles of stunning scenic walks. The large bay attracts a huge number of waterfowl and wading birds, including shell duck, grey plover, purple sandpipers, curlew, oystercatchers and dunlin. Only 6 miles away is the delightful medieval town of Beaumaris which boasts a 13th century moated castle, excellent shops, pubs, restaurants, bistros and museums, as well as a golf course and exciting pleasure boat and sea fishing trips. This is a great location on the east coast of the picturesque Isle of Anglesey, yet only six minutes from the Britannia Bridge to access the mainland.
