Thanks for making our stay a good one.

  • "On the whole the house is great."

As a repeat customer, there are some niggles that annoy me every year…. The internet here is very poor, not suitable for home working or teenagers! The kitchen is minimally furnished. It could do with some extras….this year I had to buy bought a roasting tin, a cake tin, a sharp knife, hand held blender, kitchen scales, scissors and a water jug to just get by! It’s most definitely not the kitchen for soneone who loves cooking on holiday. Nowhere to hang coats.

  • "Property was lovely and an ideal location."

We did have a problem with ants & water leaking from the upstairs shower. This was reported straight away and dealt with efficiently. In fact the manager/ owner came and moved us to another cottage. The manager/owner even popped back a couple of days later in the evening and gave us a bottle of champagne as a sorry for the birthday cake being ruined.

The cottage was lovely and clean, very comfortable and cozy. Very convenient for the beach, shops, pubs and a couple of nice restaurants. We will definitely be returning.

  • "We have stayed at Tyn Towyn before and loved it, Jensen why we went back."

Very central for all amenities and to the lovely beach at Treauddur Bay. My only thoughts are that it states in Sykes information that a large number of the cottages dogs are not allowed which was why I choose a particular cottage because my husband has an allergy to dog hair. It also clearly states which cottages allow dogs. I choose one of the cottages that stated ‘no dogs’. However in one of the cottages that is classed as ‘no dogs’’ the occupants had their dog with them which I wasn’t happy to see. When you have someone with allergies then you need to be able to rely on that facts printed! When I contacted Sykes I was told that the cottage we were in was no dogs however I can’t rely on that in the future because so was the cottage that had the dog in

  • "Please consider providing small guest soaps in each bathroom - this is particularly relevant during the COVID pandemic."

Also where has the nice cutlery gone? The set in the drawer is cheap and nasty. Glad to see that the ‘Strawberry cups’ survive - it’s worth coming just to drink tea out of them…love them! Thanks for another great holiday!

  • "It's a lovely place and well located with a lovely welcome pack."

But, I find it hard to believe that you're expected to bring your own hand soap. We're nearing the end of a pandemic and you'd think it'd be a basic necessity in any holiday home to ensure your guests are washing their hands. It's just another item to add to your shopping list whilst you are away.

  • "A really lovely holiday cottage."

The quadrant court yard that all the cottages share was beautiful and we made full use of it during our stay. Great position to access all of Treaddur and a short walk to the beach. We will definitely come back! Thank you to Kelvin for a lovely stay.

  • "The pictures on the listing do not do this property justice."

Very quiet location within walking distance to the beach. Comfortable home away from home. Only slight criticism would be the mattress in the smaller double bedroom perfect for one but if 2 in you roll together. However my parents and daughter said other beds were comfortable.

  • "Beautiful cottage which is an ideal base."

The cottage was clean, modern and comfortable and contained every thing you could need whilst staying there. The beds were very comfortable as was the lounge. There was always plenty of hot water and there was a hairdryer in the master bedroom. A nice touch was the welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, Welsh cakes and Prosecco.

  • "Hi, We have stayed at Tyn Towyn cottages on a number of occasions, approximately 10 times."

We were very disappointed this year as the cleanliness of the cottage was way below par and particularly as due to COVID 19 the cottages should have been completely deep cleaned. I had to move the sofa to get into the downstairs cupboard where we usually hang our coats to find a lot of dust/crumbs and an old knitting needle underneath. Clearly the furniture had not been moved in a while. There was food debris under the cushions too. A couple of the dining chairs were unstable. The shower upstairs wasn't draining very well and there was dirty cutlery in the drawers. All in all we were really disappointed. Especially as we had our holiday cut short by 2 hours as the extra 2 hours was apparently needed for extra cleaning due to COVID.

  • "We were expecting the property to be spotless on arrival - expecting a deep clean feel."

The cutlery drawer needed a clean, there were food particles still in the fridge, lots of cobwebs on the stairs...…. It was ok as I had brought my own mop (!) and I just put everything back in the dishwasher. After that the place felt fine - just the initial walk in was not great. We had a lovely week. Thank you
