  • "I do recommend Sykes!"

For the owner: We had three power cuts - I don’t know if that’s normal but I had to reset the cooker so it worked. A bit fiddly. The oven takes a bit of getting used to….needed to read the manual several times. A few more coat hangers, as there are no coat hooks, please. To publish: All that’s said about the internal dormer shaping is true but it’s a well equipped, extremely cosy and comfortable place to stay. Had a lovely week even with Storm Agnes.

We ate out every night but had breakfast and made sandwiches etc for our picnics. Ended up putting cereal etc in the only empty drawer. Apart from that everything was great. Thankyou for the welcome goodies too!

My wife only has one eye and struggled with the low ceiling. She kept hitting her head. And we found the bedroom a little small. And the bathroom but we enjoyed our stay. Maybe next time we will book larger cottage

  • "The apartment seemed to be adequately prepared for our stay."

However when stripping the bed we were devastated to find the mattress protector was heavily stained by previous guests. Such a disappointing dirty feeling leaving the apartment. Could not wait to get home for a shower. This was more disappointing taking into consideration the hosts have extra time to prepare for our stay due to 1600 check in and 0900 check out. No excuses!!!

I think it would help on the listing for this cottage that when u provide instructions on how to access the cottage that you say that you can’t access it on the outside of the quadrangle and that you have to go inside and also that the property has a number as we didn’t realise is was number three - also we thought the bedroom was tiny and quite difficult to manoeuvre around especially getting in and out of bed if you slept on the right side due to the sloping roof and tiny gap - we also had issues with the toilet whilst we were there and it was fixed quickly so would like to thank Kelvin for all of his help - the location of the property is absolutely perfect though and we did think it was well equipped except for the very limited storage place - we felt it would benefit from some more drawer space that we felt could be put into the wardrobe space - we struggled to find enough space to store our clothes as we were there for a week

It's a lovely apartment and would definitely return if we came back to Anglesey. Just need to make a couple of points about the toilet. The flush isn't very good and we did need to call the caretaker to fix it. Also the toilet seat isn't very stable. Everything else was excellent Thank you

  • "A very well appointed flat in a small complex."

A 'neat' apartment which suited us because we are 'neat' people. Bedroom dimensions are very snug with the bed under the eves and not possible to exit at one side. Anyone who is tall or large would struggle in this bed. We were absolutely fine for our 4 day stay and would happily return - maybe some reservations for a longer stay and when the weather warms up the bedroom could I suspect become very claustrophobic. Otherwise a great location and very peaceful.

  • "Fabulous location in Treardurr Bay."

Ideally situated for walks from the front door. Further afield, with good weather, plenty of outdoor activities even in these COVID restricted times. The accommodation is high standard, well equipped for self catering. There is enough space for a couple to occupy themselves indoors on a wet day without feeling trapped. However, the bedroom is very small and the eaves make access to the bed difficult (almost impossible) on one side. We are 5'4 and 5' 8. I would suggest that this is not a good choice for tall people or those with limited mobility.

It's a nice apartment, clean and has everything required apart from a bit more space in the bedroom! We wouldn't rent this one again because of this and the limited headroom in certain areas.

  • "The living room area in itself was comfortable and well equipped but I am afraid the bedroom and bathroom were ridiculously small."

The main problem was the sloping ceilings left no room to hardly stand up and I had to sleep on the settee in the living room for our stay because if we needed to go to the bathroom at night whoever was sleeping under the eaves had to clamber over the bed to get to the bathroom thus disturbing the other. As for the bathroom you could just about turn around in there, but you had to be careful not to bang your head on the ceiling. (Incidentally I am 5ft 9ins and my wife 5ft 4ins so we are not exactly tall) Congratulations to the architect though for creating this in such a small space. We did not let it spoil our holiday break however as we enjoyed Anglesey very much. Chris Leigh.

  • "The cottage and location were fantastic!"

The welcome pack was such a nice and unexpected addition, especially with prosecco! The apartment was spotlessly clean, with everything working perfectly. The bed was very comfortable, and we always had a great sleep. Everything was catered for, from cutlery to things to do and bus timetables to get around without a car. Being just a couple of minutes from the beach and the shops in Trearrdur was also fab. Very happy and would defintely stay here again.

  • "Great apartment."

Good standard of furnishings, clean and great location. Very well organised layout to make use of areas in eaves. Bedroom - small space around bed and has slope to ceiling so not easy to access from both sides. Shared grounds very well kept and areas in sun or shade to relax . Good location, few minutes walk from beach and various restaurants, local store and few minutes drive from number of supermarkets. Easy to get to many beaches, coastal walks and attractions. Relaxing holiday enjoying walks, beaches, Wild flowers, birds, and seafood.
