Also a pond and a waterfall. The pond is like a swamp and there is no waterfall. Also the brickwork around the pond is loose which caused an injury to myself. This pond needs filling in and the brickwork maintained as it is very dangerous

The house was very clean and well kept with everything you would need, a home from home feel. The owner Helen is a very nice lady and explained everything we needed to know to make our stay a pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend for either a family gathering or for friends to get together. Plenty of room for together time or somewhere quiet for Reading or a large conservatory for games.

  • "Where to start!"

From the moment we arrived at the property and met the owner of the house we knew we had come to the right place. She immediately made us feel so welcome into her beautiful house. There was a bottle of bubbles for us in the fridge with lovely biscuits and everything you could possibly need in the well equipped kitchen. The house was immaculate and beautifully done but homely and comfortable at the same time. The games room was a huge hit with the big kids in our party! Being in Langefni we were pretty central for amazing beaches and local attractions although the town itself, despite having all the shops you would need, would not be a place I would recommend for its nightlife. We have all had the most amazing family holiday at this truly lovely house and beautiful island.

The house and gardens are beautiful and very comfortable. We were met by the owner and shown around the property. She explained how things worked such as the Aga (our 2 dogs loved snoozing in front of it!) The beds were very comfy and the bathrooms very clean. We even had a welcome gift which went down very well! We would definitely book this property again.

  • "Clai was better than we expected."

We were met by the owner which was lovely. Some very nice homely, welcoming touches like a bottle of Prosecco, bottle of milk, biscuits and attractive kitchen roll. Beds were super comfortable and rooms well appointed. Lots of bath and hand towels, also flannels. All the washing facilities also had handwash, body lotion/handcream, face wipes and cotton wool buds. Plenty of toilet rolls too. Games room was wonderful, particularly as we had two teenaged boys with us. Having two sitting rooms was wonderful and outside seating area had a super table and lots of chairs. Plenty of TVs, with integral DVD players. Road close by, but not at all intrusive. House well situated to be able to pop into Llangefni for provisions/takeaways. Central location meant not far to either west or east coast. Lovely view from the front over the fields and also benefit of being able to enjoy fabulous sunsets. Bungalow behind, but it does not overlook the rear of Clai and we were not aware of the occupants for the whole of our week. Super place for a large family holiday.

The only drawback was lack of showers for a party of 10 and the carpets are too light for a house that caters for children and pets especially in damp conditions and muddy feet and paws. It was very well equipped and extremely comfortable and well situated for exploring. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. Totally recommended it.

The pictures do not do this place justice at all and i think Helen would benefit from having proper professional pictures taken to do it justice. It was beautiful. And she went above and beyond to make it a welcoming holiday. The only thing that could have been better is the number of bathrooms, there were eight of us and people who wanted to shower(which was mostly everyone) had to use the one in the ensuite which is not really ideal. Really could benefit from another shower. But apart from there, everything was of the highest quality and the sponge cake was yummy! Thanks Helen!!
