  • "We had a wonderful week at Llys Myrddin."

The house was spotless and very well equipped - we felt at home as soon as we arrived. The house is situated in a great location for visiting anywhere in the island, or if you just want to stay local you can take a lovely walk in the dingle nature reserve,or just watch the birds in the garden! We couldnt recommend this cottage highly enough - we are already looking forward to coming back soon.

It is located very well for exploring the rest of the island. The owners were a pleasure to deal with. They made us feel very welcome. The red squirrels in the garden were a joy to watch over breakfast.

  • "This holiday home is a great base from where to explore Anglesey."

We had a minor upset on day 1 where the dog escaped the grounds (so please be sure that you are happy with the 'enclosed' garden before you let your pooch free) plus a brief power outage, but Nia was incredibly quick to react and help to sort our issues. The gardens are really lovely to enjoy some time in and the property as a whole has everything you need.

Thanks again. welcome pack too on arrival of wine and Barra Brith which we are now addicted to! ha ha Had a great holiday and lovely to come back to this house everyday after trips out to beaches, forests, castles etc. We had 3 adults, 2 children and a dog. Thank you to Nia and Gareth who very kindly left us lovely welcome treats and made us feel very welcome. The wildlife in the garden was great to watch, I was thrilled to see my first ever red squirrel who came back many times, also woodpeckers, phesant, rabbit and so many wild birds, they where a delight to watch and very relaxing. Enjoyed Angelsey so much did not want to go home, such a lovely place and look forwards to coming back.

  • "This property was ideal for us, in a superb central location enabling us to explore the island and the local countryside."

The dogs loved the secure garden, as did we with the lovely views and abundance of wildlife, particularly the regular visits from a woodpecker and curious juvenile robin. We had everything we needed and Nia had provided some yummy welcome goodies, checking in with us mid-week to makes sure we were ok. Would highly recommend this property for a relaxing and comfortable stay...it was just what we needed after many months of Covid restrictions. Thank you Nia :)

There was a welcome pack with some of the nicest Bara Brith I have ever tasted ! The house was so roomy and comfortable , a home from home ,lovely and clean and tidy . The house was well stocked with all the day to day things you need . Views from the house were spectacular across to the mainland with snow covered hills and the garden was like watching a wildlife show with visits from a red squirrel, rabbits and Pheasants and all the loclal birdlife. Just outside Llangefni with local shops and supermarkets just a couple of minutes away . When we come back this way we wont bother looking any further for somewhere to stay , we enjoyed it so much !

  • "We had a wonderful holiday at the house, which was an excellent base for the whole of Anglesey - and the mainland too."

It is the best equipped accommodation we have stayed in (been using Sykes and coming to Anglesey for over 5 years) and the space is excellent. Lots of room for everyone and, at the same time, some great spaces for family time too. Communications with Nia were speedy and the welcome basket was lovely and very thoughtful. Highly recommend staying here and we'd be happy to return. Thank you!

Close to local amenities and plenty to do. Owners very welcoming and house certainly felt like a home away from home. Great for your dogs too with a lovely enclosed garden for them to explore. Really nice touches by owners decorating house in Halloween theme for our arrival. Will definitely consider staying again in the future.

The house had everything we could need to make it feel like home for the week, having 2 living rooms was great, our dog especially like the front living room where he could sit on the windowsill watching the world go by. We used the nearby driving range a couple of times, this was fun especially having the scrap cars on there to aim at. A very peaceful location, a restful holiday for us, we are returning there next year.

  • "We booked this property as we wanted lockable storage for motorbikes because the boys were doing a track day as part of this holiday and thought we would have to compromise to some degree."

I am delighted to say that this was not the case. The house is large, very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Welcome Pack for all! Lovely enclosed gardens on several levels surround the property, great for the dogs. Blessed with good weather, most evenings were spent on the lovely raised patio taking advantage of the barbeque. Well situated within walking distance, if desired, to supermarket and other facilities and 'The Dingle', a lovely place for a walk. This property is certainly very good value for the money.

  • "Lovely house in a central Anglesey location which meant we could head out on a relatively short journey in any direction and find something to do or visit."

I stayed here with my family and my dog. The house had all we needed for the price we paid and is set in a nice quiet location. It’s pleasantly decorated and was comfortable and spacious and has a beautiful garden. If there is anything negative to say the televisions might have had access to more channels and been bigger (one family member commented on this) but I didn’t actually watch tv whilst I was there as there was too much to do and there is not a sink for the downstairs loo but really these are not massive issues. The fun of staying in a holiday house is getting used to the differences and enjoying the experience. Plenty of shops nearby. We had amazing weather. Our favourite places to visit were Llanddwyn Bay, Newborough Forest. Benllech Beach is about a 15 min drive away. It’s a lovely beach there is access to a dog beach too. I would highly recommend this house.

Unfortunately the hedges were to high and overgrown to see anything. Other seating at the back of the house ( elderly parents couldn't make it up the hill ) had a view of the driving range which had old scrap cars parked on.

It's in a perfect location- central to all the attractions and beaches on the island. Clean and comfortable, spacious and warm, it really is a perfect holiday home. The two sitting rooms were ideal - everybody could watch what they wanted. There was a lovely welcome pack waiting for us. The kitchen is large and well equipped with everything we could need. The house was lovely with plenty of room for us. It is well equipped and we lacked nothing. It is well located for all the places we love to visit when in Anglesey. Newborough Forest and beach, the walk across to the island and the lighthouse is a favourite with its stunning scenery. Benllech, Red Warfe and the beautiful Beaumaris to name a few. I have visited Anglesey many times and have different experience each time. Nant y Pandy nature reserve is only minutes away from the house we stayed in and we enjoyed spotting the red squirrels and hearing the woodpeckers.
